2017 OUTLOOK
"We return 8 starters from a team that really started to find themselves in the 2nd half of the season. The team was 4-7 until winning 8 of 10 games until losing to Proctor and Duluth Marshall in the section 7AA playoffs. Pitching shouldn't be an issue with our team with Bryce Norby and Chase Oslin providing a strong 1-2 punch. Defense should be solid. Scoring runs will be the question mark for the team. The sophomores that saw lots of action last spring and played lots of legion and town team ball need to raise the level of their game to be taken as serious contenders in the tough Granite Ridge Conference and Section 7AA. But, if the team has its head on straight and is focused I feel we can be a team to be reckoned with in 2017." Head Coach Jayson Pautzke
