2017 Ranking Release: No. 10- No.6

We continue to dive into the top 2017 players in the state of Arkansas. Today we look at players from No. 10- No. 6.

No. 10 Cade Tucker RHP/CIF Conway HS
Tucker is 6-foot-1 190-pound athlete with a large frame and a physical build. As a pitcher he pitches 83-85 mph and flashes up to 88 mph. He compliments his fastball with a 11/5 curveball at 69-72 mph with gradual break and a changeup thrown with fastball arm speed and arm side run. He has repeatable mechanics. He works from a H ¾ arm slot with a quick arm, that has shown stiffness. Offensively he is a physical player with fast bat speed. He has a slight uphill bat path with stiffness. Defensively he plays through the baseball with choppy footwork and a smooth exchange. He possesses a strong accurate arm. Overall Tucker is a versatile player with raw strength.

No. 9 Cameron Tissue MIF Catholic HS
Tissue is a 5-foot-11, 160- pound infielder with an athletic frame and build. Defensively he has smooth footwork as he plays through the baseball with soft hands. He has a quick exchange and a loose accurate arm. He throws the ball 80 mph the infield. Offensively he starts from a tall stance with a smooth load. He works off a stiff front side driving his hips through the baseball. He has a line drive swing that allows him to spray the ball to all fields. Overall Tissue is a polished player, as he add strength he will be an impressive collegiate player.

No. 8 Adrian Hannah CIF Searcy HS
Hannah is a 6-foot-2 200-pound corner infielder with a large frame and physical build. His uphill bat path with fast bat speed produces exit velocity up to 88 mph. He repeats his swing maintaining rhythm and balance throughout. Defensively he has some stiffness to his hands and foot work. He has an accurate arm with a fluid exchange. Overall Hannah is a polished hitter, as he develops athletically he will improve defensively and should develop into a quality collegiate player. Hannah impress at times showing pull side power.

No. 7 Logan Easley RHP/CIF Heritage HS
Easley is a 6-foot 170 pound right-hander with a quick clean arm. He pounded the strike zone with a fastball of 84-87 mph that had late life through the strike zone. He has an advance feel for his secondary locating both his changeup and curveball. Overall Easley has a clean arm action with a medium frame, and an athletic build. The fact that he is already showing the ability to pitch and advanced arm strength makes Easley a player to follow. He has the ability to hit at the collegiate level with fast bat speed and bat path that stays in the hit zone for an extended period of time. The question mark for Easley as a position player is if he can transfer to a corner as he continues to play the game.

No. 6 Austin Kelly RHP/OF Bryant HS
Kelly is a 6-foot-1 190-pound RHP with a large frame and a physical build. His fastball sits 86-89 mph with late life through the strike zone. He threw a slider 78-80 mph with erratic break but at times was sharp with late 10/4 action. Overall a big arm with some upside, as he matures and cleans up some timing issues he will throw harder and strikes on a consistent basis. He is an advanced athlete that runs a 6.9 in the 60. He works through the baseball with a fluid exchange and a strong arm. Offensively he uses physical strength to push the bat through the zone. He has a line drive swing that stays in the hitting zone for a long time.
