Today we continue our breakdown of the player’s 2017 rankings looking at the players who were are ranked No. 11 to No. 15.

No. 15 Jacob Williams RHP Bentonville HS
Williams is a 6-foot, 170-pound right-hander with a medium frame and an athletic build. He works from a H3/4 arm slot with a short quick arm. He pitches off his fastball locating 83-86 mph. He has the ability to throw an advanced breaking ball with 11/5 shape with sharp late break at 72-74 mph. He does a good job repeating his mechanics, I would like to see him lengthen the arm action, but it is a quick arm that throws strikes. At this point in time, Williams is very intriguing due to his arm speed and his advance feel for his breaking ball.

No. 14 Dalton Reeves LHP Southside HS
Reeves is a 5-foot-9, 165-pound left-hander with a medium frame and an athletic build. He has a clean arm action from a high ¾ arm slot. He maintains balance and rhythm through his delivery, which he repeats consistently. I would like to see him get more extension toward home plate. His fastball works 80-82 mph with late cut. He throw a 2/8 curveball with early break.  Reeves biggest strength is his ability and willingness to attack hitters with both pitches in all counts. He projects to get better with a loose arm and body and frame that will be able to add strength as he matures. Overall a polished pitcher to watch as he matures.

No. 13 Caleb Kimbrell OF Har-Ber HS
Kimbrel is a 6-foot 205-pound OF with a large frame and a physical build. He is a physical left-handed hitter with fast bat speed. He attacks the baseball with a slight uphill bat path. He gets rotational at times but stays balanced through extension. Defensively he is sound working through the baseball with a smooth exchange and an accurate arm. He runs a 6.9 in the 60. Overall a physical player with an advanced offensive game.

No. 12 Kolby Reck MIF Conway HS
Reck is a 5-foot-10 170-pound middle infielder with a medium frame and an athletic build. He runs a 6.8 in the 60. He plays through baseball with fluid footwork and smooth actions. He has a quick exchange and an accurate arm. Offensivley he has a great feel for the barrel and a short line drive swing. He does a sound job hitting the ball to all fields. In plus counts he tends to get rotational and spins off of balls, as he matures I believe he will hit the ball for doubles power with an occasional home run. Overall Reck is a good athlete with a well-rounded game.

No. 11 Kinner Brasher Southside HS
Brasher is a 6-foot 150-pound left-handed hitting outfielder. He is an above average athlete running a 6.66 in the 60. Defensively he plays defense gap-gap with a smooth exchange and an accurate arm. Offensively he has a line drive swing that stays in the hit zone for an extended period of time. He tends to leak out of the back hip at times losing some power. He has an advanced approach and plays the game to strengths. Overall a complete player as he adds strength he will be an advanced college player.
