With the 2018-2019 Prospect Showcase coming up on September 20th at Grand Park in Westfield, IN, throughout the next several weeks we are going to highlight some of the top 2018-2019 prospects we have seen thus far.  

Player Name: Myles Griffith
High School: Western
Primary Position: OF
Grad Year: 2018

Notes: Griffith is a 5-foot-10, 180 pounder that impressed from the right side of the plate at the All-State Prospect ID showcase this past June.  Griffith hits out of a balanced setup using a leg kick.  His lower half was explosive and displayed a level path to the baseball getting to extension.  During his BP session he displayed present power to his pull-side and consistently barreled up balls with plus bat speed for his age. Griffith recorded a high exit velocity of 94 mph off the tee. In the outfield he produced a high positional velocity of 78 mph from a high 3/4 slot with average carry.  His actions are long, but does play through the baseball.
