PBR MN 2018 Recap: 2018 PBR Future Games

Prep Baseball Report Minnesota

The Prep Baseball Report Future Games is the premier summer scouting event for uncommitted underclassmen. 253 college coaches from all over the country were in attendance at this past year’s event. Team IA-MN-NE produced a dominating performance; finishing the event with a 3-0 record. ’21 Aaron Downs, SS, Pella (IA) was selected as the 2018 PBR Future Games MVP with his strong all-around performance over the four days; culminating with the sophomore committing to the U. of Louisville. Down's award makes him the third player from Team IA-MN-NE to earn the accolade in the last four years.

As we close the book on 2018 and look to 2019 with great expectations for the upcoming 2019 High School Season, we are catching up with the roster from the Future Games this past August.

Nine of the twenty-two players that attended the Future Games have already committed, but there are still thirteen players that are going to be solid additions to recruiting classes. This group still has plenty of guys that play premium positions and can hit at a high level; as well as several arms that should be getting a lot of attention during the upcoming high school season.
