2018 OUTLOOK
"Our strength this season should be our experience and our pitching staff.  We have one of the deepest and most talented pitching staffs in all of class 1A.  This group of young men have played a lot of games together in the past 9 or 10 years and almost always come ready to play.  We are a very aggressive offensive team, especially on the bases where we wreak havoc on opposing pitchers and catchers.   We lost a couple starters from last season, but we’ve had some young players step up into bigger roles than they had last summer.   One concern we have is filling an outfield spot left vacant by graduations.  Another concern will be managing our pitching staff as we try to play the maximum 40 games.  It will also be a tough task to manage through our conference schedule with DH on Mondays and Thursdays.  The Tri-Rivers is as strong as I’ve ever seen it with a possibility of three highly ranked teams to start the season."  Head Coach Travis Griffith
