2019 Spring Team Preview: Mascoma Valley Regional

Team Name: Mascoma Valley Regional
Head Coach: David Isom
State: New Hampshire
Division: III
2018 Record: 2-14
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/0

2019 Team Strengths:

  • Leadership
  • Contact Hitting
  • Positional Play Versatility

2019 Team Weaknesses:

  • Returning Pitching

Coach Outlook: "Our seniors have grown to be great leaders - helping the team come together while still having fun. We have plenty of kids that can come in and throw strikes to help our starters which I am excited about. "

PBR Outlook: They have an older group of positional players set for the spring campaign. Should show versatility at the plate and in the field. The pitching will be in question, but some early success should develop confidence on the mound.

Top Returning Players:

  • Devin Tetreault (.375 AVG, 7 2B, .965 OPS),
  • Caleb McAlister (.357 AVG, 5 2B, .947 OPS)

Top Newcomers:

  • Josh Evans (INF, SP - Soph - .250 AVG, 7 RBI as a freshman on varsity - Looking to have Josh pitch more often as he pounds the strike zone),
  • Michael Evans (C, INF, P - Soph - Started every game at C after coming up to varsity - Will have more of an opportunity to play INF and P this year)
