With the launch of PBR Nevada on October 1, we wanted to do diligence before recognizing the top players in the state in each class.  After almost three months, painstaking debate and endless evaluation, we announce our initial 2020 class ranking.  It is interesting to note that 7 of the top 25 are currently committed to Division I programs. In lieu of the NCAA passing legislation allowing visits to be taken in a prospect’s junior year, many of our ranked prospect have been busy this Fall taking official visits and are likely nearing a decision as well.

The 2020 class possesses great athleticism.   Heading the class is Jaden Agassi, right-handed pitcher.  Agassi is a physical right-hander that has been up to 93 on the mound.  Likely a pitcher at the next level, he is an intriguing hitter as well with power potential.  Easy to see him as a rotation starter with a chance to hit as a designated hitter or bat off the bench in college. Both Agassi and our #2 prospect, Carson Wells (Bishop Gorman), are committed to the University of Southern California. Wells is a fleet-footed centerfielder with an athletic build.   He may have the highest ceiling of anyone in the class.  He is projectable both physically and athletically with a chance to be a top or middle of the order type bat.  Coming in at #3 is Josiah Cromwick (Palo Verde). Cromwick is a sturdy bodied catcher with durability for the position.  His future is behind the plate, but his athleticism provides the ability to play corner outfield as well.  Cromwick has present strength with a good combination of strength and bat speed, providing potential power down the road.  The rest of the Top 10 is:
