Making his top-10 debut at #7 in our rankings is OF Zac Veen (Spruce Creek; Florida). Veen makes the jump from 24 to 7. The left-handed hitter is long and lean at 6-foot-4 190 pounds. He has a compact swings with above average power from the left side. Veen will look to keep increasing his stock as the summer rolls on.

The second of our biggest risers in the Class of 2020 is SS Blake Wright (Clearwater Central Catholic; USF). Wright makes the jump from 76 all the way up to 37. He has an athletic frame at 6-foot 190 pounds. Good first step and moves athletically at short. Has a balanced approach at the plate with fast bat speed and gap-to-gap power. Wright was a standout at the Florida ProCase at IMG Academy this past month.

Our third biggest riser in the Class of 2020 is RHP Lebarron Johnson (Paxon School; Florida). He makes a huge jump going from #181 all the way up to #61 in our updated rankings. At 6-foot-3 190 pounds, Johnson has a physical, projectable frame that he is still growing into. Out of a 3/4 arm slot he delivers a fastball that is up to 89 mph. There is a lot of upside to Johnson which will allow him to keep shooting up these rankings.

Our fourth biggest riser is one that had been previously unranked. Coming in at #65 is RHP Frank Elissalt (Ferguson; Uncommitted). A strong, athletic frame at 6-foot-2 195 pounds. Loose, clean arm action on the mound with a fastball sitting 88-90. He also adds a curveball at 70-71 and a changeup at 78-79. Elissalt works low in the zone and throws all three of his pitches for strikes. He was a standout at the Florida ProCase at IMG Academy this past month and remains one of the top uncommitted players in the 2020 class.

The fifth of our biggest risers in the Class of 2020 is C Pierce Chambers (Calvary Christian; TCU). He makes the jump from #129 up to #77. Chambers was a strong showing this past weekend at the Florida State Games. He has an athletic and strong frame at 6-foot-1 185 pounds. Has a strong arm that has some carry and accuracy. Average footwork and clean exchange with pop times at 1.95-2.0. Moves well laterally when blocking and has strong hands receiving. Balanced approach at the plate with a smooth load and level bat path. Hits gap to gap with pull side power.
