The 2021 run to the state championship for SCHL will begin this Friday as each of the five classifications will open up their District Tournaments.  Each tournament has four teams, seeded based on how they finished in their Region.  The District Tournaments’ first 5 games will be hosted by the highest Region seed.  Games 6, and if necessary, game 7 will be hosted by the team that works its way to the championship round undefeated.  Games are scheduled to be played on May 15, May 17, May 19, and May 21.  Games may be adjusted based on weather and other scheduling issues.

Winners of the District Tournaments will move to the Upper State and Lower State Championships.  Those contests will be a best of three format with each team hosting once and the third game played on a neutral site if possible.  The Upper and Lower State Championships will be played on May 24, May 26, and May 28 if necessary. 

The Upper and Lower State Champions will face off in a best of three series scheduled to begin on June 1, with each champion hosting one game and the third game’s site to be determined as needed.
