5’11 155-pound slim frame. Bat continues to develop, having two doubles in game play. Using lower half more efficiently, letting it get his swing started. Stays in rear leg throughout stride, helping stay back create good bat path matching pitch plane. Exit velo was 80 MPH. Behind the plate he is as smooth as it gets. Good mobility behind the plate, allowing him to get to knees easily when blocking is needed. Quality receiver with a pop time of 1.91-2.03. Quick release and good feet help is 74 MPH rm get to the bag quickly.

 

6’ 165-pound frame. Switch hitter has loose actions from both sides and has shown the ability to hit from both sides. From the right side he starts square using a small stride, while getting bat vertical. Middle approach, working around the baseball on occasion. From the left side, the better of the two, he shows easy bat speed through the middle of the field. Starts open with more rhythm using bat tip to have momentum behind the strike zone. Lands with knee flexed, giving more adjustability. Exit velo was 88 MPH. Good athlete behind the plate. Transfer close to his body, getting feet going before the catch. Quick transfer allows for feet to start earlier. 2.03-2.11 pop time.

6/12/196’0 150-pound frame with room for weight. Switch hitter that’s stronger from the left side. Starts open from the left side, striding in towards the plate, slightly in from square. Hands have good rhythm from just above shoulder height, working down as he loads. Lands with knee flexed, allowing him to adjust. In zone early, matching pitch plane for a long time. Middle approach, that will start to see balls carry into gaps as he gets stronger. From the right side starts open, landing square, getting to his toe first. Good separation, getting hands back. Downhill bat path with a middle approach. Exit velo was 85 MPH. Good athlete behind the plate, making good plays during game play, including scooping a ball and throws out a would be base runner. Works around the baseball well with a clean transfer allow throws to be efficient. Pop time was 1.98-2.06

 

6/12/196’5 220-pound frame. Wide, square set up with hands shoulder height. Small toe tap when loading into back side, striding back to square. Barrel works into the zone early. Middle approach with some pop to his pull side. Timing will need to improve. Exit velo at 86 MPH. Worked around the baseball well to get long legs started early. High set up. Clean transfer with arm at 74 MPH and pop time of 2.03 and 2.13.
