2023 OUTLOOK:
We have the most competition that we have had in the last decade for playing time. Competition for spots breeds success. We return a handful of guys that were maybe forced into action a year too soon, but they now have that experience to help guide us. Our pitching staff and infield defense really need to turn the corner for us. We were a lot better team than our record shows last year, but our free passes just put us behind the ball. The community of Oelwein holds baseball in a special place, and think that this team has the opportunity to help bring some of that back."
