2016 Brinson Williams C Benton High School
Williams is a 6-foot-1 210-pound catcher with a large frame and a muscular build. He is an offensive force. He has fast bat speed with a slight uphill bat path. He attacks his at bats with an aggressive approach, with an advanced feel for barrel. Defensively he receives and blocks with efficient skill. There are a few things he could clean up but is overall effective. He throws pop times consistently 2.0 or below. He is enough of a threat to carry a team through the state tournament, especially with the talented pieces around him.
