- 9 to Know - 2021 Prospects -

- Daniel Brooks (1B/RHP, Bishop England, 2021) 6 foot 6, 220 pound 1B/RHP.  The physical presence provides Brooks with a tremendously high upside. The actions are smooth, for someone his age with that length, and the body will lend itself to additional strength as he matures. PBR Preseason All State participant recorded a 92 mph exit velocity at the event and was clocked at 84-85 on the mound with a developing 69-72 SL.

- Cooper George (1B/3B, May River, 2021) Utility man who could see time at 1st, 3rd, or in the OF. The frame sports a strong lower half. A solid defender, he has a high enough athletic ceiling to be a quality utility man. George sports a compact swing at the plate with little "swing and miss" in it. The power potential is trending in the right direction and could surge as he matures.

- Tyler Burgess (RHP, Myrtle Beach, 2021) Athletic compact frame with a quick arm stroke and a repeatable delivery. FB has been up to 80-82 with a big breaker at 67-69. Has shown advanced feel for his off speed pitches at times mixing a 73 mph CH. Works with a good tempo and has a solid competitive make-up. Leadoff hitter for Myrtle Beach also.

- Pep Jordan (SS/2B, Georgetown, 2021) Strong compact frame in the two sport athlete. (Football/Baseball) Profiles as a middle infielder with the ability to play either position up the middle. A good runner with good first step quickness, current avg. arm strength is developing. Low line drive bat path and sprays line drives to all fields. Has also turned in several quality starts on the mound.

- David Lewis (3B, Blue Ridge, 2021) Clemson recruit. Has a strong profile with a recent bump in arm strength. Serviceable third baseman with a profile that suggests he could move to 1st or even play a corner OF spot if needed. Raw power is through the roof, combined with advanced bat to ball skills and a good understanding of the strike zone will give him a chance to turn into a solid collegiate hitter.

- Ethan Salak (RHP, St. James, 2021) Coastal Carolina recruit. Lean frame with room to hold additional mass as he develops. Has been up to 84-85 this year for St. James HS with a fastball that has shown some arm side wiggle at times. Has feel for a tight 10/5 slider that will continue to develop with additional maturation. Excellent competitive make up, bulldog mentality.

- Luke Johnson (RHP, TL Hanna, 2021) The TL Hanna RHP turned in several quality starts early in the year for the Yellow Jackets. The 6 footer has a proportional frame ands rides the FB up to 84 mph with a high 3/4 to OTT arm slot. He also shows a good breaking ball offering at 69 with some downer action.

- Justin Lehman (C, Nation Ford, 2021) Lean athlete with upside to his proportional frame.  LHH catcher has handled the staff at Nation Ford well this year serving as the Falcons primary catcher. He is also capable of sliding down the line and playing 1B or RF. 2.06-2.19 POP and solid block and recover skills present. Developing power at the plate should continue.

- TJ White (OF, Dorman, 2021) 6 foot 2, 210 lb, strong frame with athletic upside to suggest continued development. Mixture of strength and speed present. Switch hitter with a simple load mechanism and direct bat path. Power potential will continue with maturation. Quality defensive OF with fringe avg arm strength.
