Nate Hoyt (OF, Bluffton, 2022)

Medium frame with proportional build and round shoulders. Solid mix of tools that will develop with age. Sneaky good runner (6.99 60 time). Quick pro step and H3Q to OTT release point produced throws with moderate carry on target. Taller stance and relaxed hand set. Medium stride and short hand load. Very quiet actions at the plate with smooth barrel release through contact and naturally lofted path. Hit tool will have a chance to develop as he gets stronger.

Carson Brown (OF, Clover, 2022)

6-1 167lb well proportioned athlete. Lean strength and upside with solid lower half and broad shoulders. LHH with a short stride to the ball of his foot and barrel turn load at the top. Lags the barrel and showed good extension and pullside carry. Will have the potential to see an increase in power as he matures. Quick pro step in the OF with developing arm strength. Greyson Wild (RHP/3B, Catawba Ridge, 2022)

Plays at every bit of the listed 6-2, 170lbs. Some physical maturation will help clean up the actions, partly due to long limbs and developing body control. Rests the bat on the shoulder and loads to a position off the back foot. Gathers the weight on the backside with a medium leg kick. Good weight transfer into contact and flat to slightly lofted bat path at times. Higher approach to ground balls and confident hands. Funneled the ball into the belt and got it out cleanly with a longer arm action and OTT slot. Short rocker step on the mound to a balance point above the Balt. Full arm action on the back side with an OTT slot. Landed in line to slightly open at times. Chases the arm down the mound with good extension. Developing feel for offspeed.

Zane Catoe (2B/SS, Lugoff Elgin, 2022)

5 foot 6, 152lb infielder with proportional athletic frame. Narrow stance inside the shoulders with a higher leg kick. Hands start off the back shoulder but drive down and back to a lower slot at foot strike. Gets good extension through contact and carries the gaps with additional potential for added power. (81 mph EV) Showed tendencies to get long at times but consistently produced line drives in BP rounds. Compact frame with smooth footwork, worked through ground balls with a low approach and clean pick-up, transfer, & throw. Arm action is longer from the SS position but could be addressed will minimal player development and additional maturation. (73 INF Velo)

Calder Garris (C/RHP, Wando, 2022)

Durable 6-0, 210lb frame. Strong through the lower half with broad shoulders, prototypical catchers build. Taller set up with the feet right at the shoulders, minimal hand load with a short stride. Developing power will carry the gaps with additional power potential as he matures. (90 mph EV) Showed the ability to transfer his weight into contact and lag the barrel, generating some jump off the bat. Explodes out from behind the plate gaining ground to second. Quick hands and consistent with his transfers. In game, he shows strong hands at the edges of the zone and handled breaking balls well with impressive block and recover ability for his size. 3 pitch mix on the mound with an 84 mph FB, 66-70 mph CB, and 77 mph CH. Forceful delivery, with quick tempo.

Blake Palyok (C, Airport, 2022)

Well built catcher at an athletic 6-1, 185lbs. Durable lower half and room for additional mass with future player development. Strong running gate with moderate stride length. (6.87 sixty time) Weight slightly on his back side with a lower hand set. Soft stride with medium length, slightly uphill attack angle with the ability to carry the gaps. Hands worked cleanly through the inside of the ball with good extension through contact. Athletic set up behind the plate with strong hands. Handled balls inside the body easily and showed a natural ability to move laterally to handle balls in the dirt. Quick transfers and short arm stroke should see the pop time go down from his recorded 2.03 as he matures.

Rom Kellis (3B/RHP, P27 Academy, 2022)

5-11, 165lb frame with upside. Rounded shoulders and good length in the limbs, solid present athletic ability with room to develop further as he matures. Athletic stance with the feet outside the shoulders. Medium stride hangs slightly as he gathers his weight and turns the barrel at the top. Attack angle was steep at times. Good barrel release through contact and loose hands suggest an increase in power is coming. Athletic base and smooth footwork at 3rd. Good hands and clean transfers. Plenty of arm for the position (84 mph IF Velocity)

Seth Robinson (2B/SS, Cane Bay, 2022)

5 foot  6 frame with good actions and youth to his advantage. Present projection at the 2B position but could easily stick at either middle infield position as he matures. Will need to translate additional strength to present skill. Loose whip to the barrel with positive attack angle. Soft stride and balance throughout the swing, middle/oppo approach. Fluid footwork in the infield and the ball comes out of his hand with surprising life. Not a burner but shows good lateral movement to field balls within his range, athletic enough to make some plays at the edges of his range.
