With the 2018 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state. Starting mid-January, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2018 Spring Team Preview: Adena Warriors
Team Name: Adena Warriors
Head Coach: Tom Barr
Division: III
2017 Record: 14-14
Conference Record: Scioto Valley Conference, 10-4, 2nd Place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/2
2018 Team Strengths:
- Defense
- Speed
Coach Outlook: "Adena lost 10 seniors in 2017 but return 3 starters. We will be young with talent that has not been tested at the varsity level. Our Junior Varsity program has been very successful over the previous two seasons (36-1) so many of these players should be ready to help our varsity program in 2018. Also, the majority of our players are now playing competitive summer baseball which will help our club this spring."
PBR Outlook: Losing 10 seniors is never an easy thing to do, but head coach Tom Barr is confident, thanks to the fact that the JV program has been 36-1 over the past two seasons. Look for this group to be playing their best ball come tournament time.
