All State Games Roster Preview: PBR Black

The All-State Games are start Saturday, October 22^nd and 23^rd at Henderson State University and Ouachita Baptist University. This event will feature players competing on 6 different teams. Players were invited to compete in this event from all corners of the state. We are excited about the talent pool pf players this premiere event has drawn.

PBR Black is a solid mix of underclassmen with some unsigned seniors to add some experience to the mix.

Unsigned Senior

2017 Adrian Hannah, CIF, Searcy High School
Hannah is a 6-foot-1 190-pound corner infielder with a large frame and an average build. He ran a 4.35 down the line. Defensively he works through the baseball with some stiffness, with average footwork. He throws with a long arm action from an H ¾ arm slot, accurately. He showed some arm strength throwing the ball 81 mph off the mound. Offensively he starts from a balanced stance, with a smooth load, a short stride and a uses solid hip rotation. He attacks the baseball with fast bat speed with a line drive swing. He shows balance through extension. Overall Hannah is an advanced left-handed bat that showed pull power.

2017 Caleb Kimbel OF Har-ber High School
Kimbel is a 6-foot-1 220-pound OF/1B with a wide frame and a strong build. Defensively he plays through the baseball with fluid heavy footwork, using average hands with some stiffness, he uses a normal exchange with a short arm action from a ¾ arm slot. He throws the ball accurately. Offensively he starts from an open stance with a smooth load short stride. He attacks the baseball with fast bat speed with an uphill swing. He remains balanced through extension. Overall Kimbel is a physical player with raw strength and bat speed. 

Underclassmen

2018 Andrew Stanley C Searcy HS
Stanley is a 5-foot-8 165-pound catcher with an athletic frame and build. He is runs a 4.21 home to first. Offensively he starts from an athletic stance, he uses a small hand load, a short stride and a compact swing to produce line drives. He does a sound job maintaining balance through extension, and has shown an advanced feel for the barrel. Defensively he throws pop times 1.97-2.04 accurately, from a short arm action. He receives with proper angles and soft hands. He shows solid technique and a high motor during blocking drills. Overall Stanley is an advanced hitter with solid athleticism that will allow to play a secondary position if necessary. 

2019 Cason Tollett, C Little Rock Christian High School
Tollett is a 6-foot-1 185-pound catcher with a large frame and an athletic build. Defensively he works from a wide stance, he has fluid foot work. He has a quick exchange and clean arm action. He throws pop times 1.98-2.07 with accuracy. He has advanced receiving skills maintain proper glove angels and receives with soft hands. He shows solid technique and effort while blocking. Offensively, he starts from a tall stance with a slight load. He attacks the baseball with a line drive swing. He maintains balance through extension. Overall Tollett is advanced catcher with a projectable bat. 

Creating Buzz

2019 LHP Zach Morris; had a good summer stabilizing the pitching staff of the Sticks 16U, after a solid spring. He is a dual sport athlete competing in football as well. He is an intriguing prospect in the 2019 class with a large frame and a feel to pitch.

2018 MIF/RHP Ty Johnson, an advanced athlete that pitches from a side arm, arm slot, our staff has heard positive reviews of his performance with East Coast Baseball this fall, he could be a name that pops up over the week end.
