#1 Lake Central 5 Michigan City 0 - Jimmy McNamara earned his third win of the year striking out eight in four innings of work. Austen Wagoner worked the final three innings striking out three. 

#5 New Albany 5 Madison 0 – Shane Robison threw a complete game shutout striking out eight. Garrett Sherrell was 2-3 and Brady Parr was 2-4 in the win.

#6 Cathedral 23 Warren Central 2

#7 Homestead 29 Bishop Dwenger 1 - Multiple players had multiple hit games for Homestead. Brandon Soat (IPFW) was 3-5, homerun and five RBI.  Austin Plasterer (Jackson CC) was 4-6, with four RBI; Jake Weber (Parkland) was 3-3, with a homerun and four RBI.  Andre Jernigan (Xavier) was 2-4, Matt Volz was 3-5, and Nick Denice, Tyler Zimske, and Michael Redden with 2 hits apiece.

#10 Brownsburg 12 Speedway 5 – Brownsburg jumped on the scoreboard early, taking a 7-0 lead into the third inning. Mycah Whetstone picked up his first win of the year throwing four innings, Ty McCoy threw the last three to get the save.

#12 Crown Point 4 Chesterton 2 – Zach Plesac threw a no hitter striking out eight batters in the game. Crown Point trailed 2-1 going into the bottom of the seventh, but Plesac came up and ended the game hitting a three run homerun to finish off a great day on the field.

#13 Pendleton Heights 14 Madison-Grant 3

#19 Columbus North 4 Franklin 1 - Junior Lefty Daniel Ayers moved to 2-0 on the season. He threw six innings of three hit ball, striking out 15 batters. Preston Shelton continued his hot hitting by belting a homerun over the left center field fence. Braden Pelley (2012) and Evan Finke (2015) each hit a double in the 6th inning to add another run. Parker Shelton came in to get the save striking out the side. The Bulldog pitching staff finished with 18 strikeouts in the ballgame.

#21 Evansville North 1 Tell City 0 - Junior Devin Williams tossed a complete game four hitter with seven strikeouts and no walks.  Williams improved to 3-0, and Evansville North improved to 4-1.

#23 Bloomington South 9 Terre Haute North 5 – Caleb Baechtold got the win going five innings allowing just one earned run and striking out six. Baechtold also had a good day at the plate going 3-3 with a homerun and three runs scored. Cody Workman also had a good day at the plate going 2-3 with a homerun and three RBI.

#24 Avon 4 Ballard (KY) 3

#25 Hobart 12 Highland 5 - Offensively, Hobart was led by Tyrus Joseforsky (2014) who scored three runs to go with three walks and a hit, Nick Bokun (2014) who scored three runs and had three RBI, Phil Madvek (Oakton) 2-2 with three RBI, and Chris Moore (2012 unsigned) 1-2, three walks, three RBI.  Junior lefty C.J. Komosa (unsigned) picked up his second win of the season in relief. 

Greenfield-Central 12 Lawrence Central 8 – Clark Pence hit a walk off grand slam in the bottom of the seventh to get the win for Greenfield-Central.

Adams Central 7 Woodlan 1 – 2013 LHP Dalton Combs picked up the win for the Jets on the mound going the distance.  He struck out eight and walked three giving up only four hits.  2014 SS Conner Lengerich hit a two run homer in the 4th inning. Isaac Luginbill went 2-4, and Isaac Soldner went 1-3 with a double.  2012 CF Warren Burkhart went 2-4 with a triple, and Combs went 2-4 with a double. 

Greensburg 13 Connersville 3 - Riley Billieu gets the win for the Pirates going all five innings striking out two and giving up one earned run. Meadows went 3-3 with two RBI, Tressler 3-3 with two doubles, Holdsworth 2-3 with a RBI, and Schultz 1-2 with RBI.

Crawfordsville 15 Tri-West 5 – Garrett Phelps threw three innings allowing just two hits and striking out two to get the win. Mitchel Reeves was 2-4 at the plate with two doubles and four RBI. Caleb Rasmussen was 3-5 with a RBI and a run. Joel Hobson, Jordan Jackson, and Chris Minks all had two hits in the game.

Northfield 12 Wayne 2 – Ryan Keaffaber got the win going five innings allowing five hits, no earned runs, and striking out ten. He was also 2-4 at the plate with a double and RBI. Tanner Chamberlain was 2-2 at the plate with three runs, a stolen base, and a RBI.

Eastern Hancock 24 Randolph Southern 14 – Eastern collected 18 hits in the game, led by Cody Wallace and Evan Fout. Wallace finished 3-4 with two triples, a homerun, four runs, and seven RBI. Evan Fout finished 4-5 with a double, four runs, and three RBI. Hunter Brown drove in three runs and Cole Fout and Connor Kramer each drove in two runs.

Columbus East 7 Shelbyville 5 – Brian Wichman got the win on the mound got four innings allowing two earned runs and striking out seven. Peyton Gray got the save throwing the last three innings striking out four. Cody Edwards finished 2-3 at the plate with a double, two RBI, and two runs. Ben Harping and Christian Wichman each had two hits, Wichman also drove in a run.

Alexandria Monroe 11 Lapel 1 – Dalten Hamilton got the win allowing just three hits and striking out six in five innings. Derek Dinehart was 2-3 at the plate with a RBI and two runs, Donnie Dinehart was 2-2 with a stolen base and a run, and Justin Quinn was 2-4 with a RBI and run. Isaac Mitchell and Owen Young each drove in a run.

Evansville Reitz 7 Boonville 4 - Reitz improved to 6-1 on the season beating Boonville 7-4.  Reitz pitcher Cole Nagy was strong through five innings allowing only one earned run.  Senior C Matt Wargel was 3-4 and Junior LF Taylor Mathis was 2-4 with two triples.

Silver Creek 16 Mitchell 0 – Jared Vest homered and Jacob Armstrong and Lucas Barnett both tripled. Sophomores Brooks Howeel and Drew Sherrow combined for the shutout.

Seymour 12 Brownstown Central 2 - Bill Rayburn (2-0) picked up the win and Clay Pardieck picked up his second save of the year. Pardieck also had two hits at the plate. Tanner Belcher had three RBI and two runs and Zack Brown had two RBI and a run.
