#2 Elkhart Central 14 SB Washington 1 – Kaleb DeFreese and Tanner Tully both homered in the win, DeFreese drove in four and Tully drove in three. Adam Raifsnider was 2-2 with two doubles and a RBI. Casey Ianigro also drove in two runs.

#8 Carroll 16 FW Luers 5 – Cody Chase finished the game 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored. Grant Wilson and Drue Tranquill each homered in the game, Wilson drove in four runs and Tranguill drove in five. Peyton Lengacher also homered for Carroll.

#15 Crown Point 10 #11 Portage 1 – Zach Plesac picked up the win allowing just one run and striking out seven. Morgan was 3-4 with a RBI, Jake Lindeman was 2-4 with two RBI, and Brett Bayer was also 2-4 with two RBI.

Noblesville 3 #17 Brownsburg 2

#20 Evansville North 10 Evansville Central 5 - Junior Devin Williams pitched his third complete game to move to 3-0. Junior Ryan Dills was 3-3 with three runs and four stolen bases.

 

SB St. Joes 22 #24 Mishawaka 10 – Both teams had 19 hits in the game and St. Joes scored four or five runs in each of their first four at bats. Brad Hartman, Pat Kilma, and Michael Madden each doubled twice for St. Joes. Neal Dowling homered in the win.

#25 Greensburg 12 South Decatur 5 - Greensburg LHP Tyler Bruchman picked up the win in relief throwing four strong innings and striking out eight. Four players scored multiple runs for Greensburg including Bruchman who crossed the place on three occasions. 

Westview 10 Elkhart Christian Academy 0 – Adrian Brandenberg got the win allowing just two hits and striking out six in four innings or work. Austin Schlabach had two hits and a RBI, Kohle Christner had a hit and drove in two runs, Jake Berkey scored three times and drove in a run, and Judah Zickafoose drove in two runs.

Seymour 3 Bedford North Lawrence
 0 – 6-foot-4 lefty Conner Kirtley picked up the win throwing six shutout innings allowing four hits while striking out 12 and Zack Brown got the save as the got Owls win. Brown went 2-3 at the plate scoring a run and stealing a base, Tanner Belcher had an RBI triple and senior Clay Pardieck went 2-4 with an RBI double.

Westfield 6 Avon 2 – Wade Burtron got the win allowing just one run in five innings of work while striking out four. Jake Celleghin was 3-4 at the plate with a run, Gray doubled and drove in two runs, and Nick Saldutti doubled and drove in a run.

Valparaiso 12 Michigan City 3 – CJ Gear was 3-4 in the game with a RBI and two runs scored. Jeff Holmes and Devin Bafia both had two hits, Holmes doubled and drove in two and Bafia drove in one.

Eminence 5 Turkey Run 2 – Anthony Rigdell got the win throwing all seven innings allowing just two earned runs and striking out eight.

Triton Central 10 Morristown 0 – Luke Stephenson got the win going all six innings, allowing just one hit and striking out 14. He also drove in two runs. Tyler Childress and Quinn Schneider both had two hits, a RBI, and a run scored.

Jac-Cen-Del 9 Milan 6 – Trey Brown led the offense going 3-3 with two RBI and a run. Trent Smith was 2-4 with a RBI and two runs and Alex Schoettmer doubled and drove in two runs in the win.

North Putnam 8 Cloverdale 4 – Caleb Belcher led the offense in the win going 3-4 with two RBI and a run. Coy Flynn was 2-4 with a triple and two RBI. For Cloverdale Jordan Brinkman finished 3-3 with two doubles and a RBI.

Bremen 10 Glenn 4 – Nate Leeper picked up the win working six innings allowing just one earned run and striking out five. Leeper also drove in two runs.  Eric Knepper finished 3-4 with a double, triple, and a RBI. Jacob Bennitt had two hits and drove in two runs.

Cascade 13 Greencastle 1 – Jaylon Western picked up the win on the mound allowing just three hits and striking out eight in five innings of work.  Alex Arthur was 3-4 with a double and four RBI. Drew Scott and Nolan Sappenfield both were 3-3 with a RBI and two runs scored.

New Haven 7 FW Northside 0 – Reeves Schumaker threw a complete game shutout allowing just two hits, walking none, and striking out six. He was also 3-4 at the plate with a RBI. Derek Wallace and Caleb Heckley both had two hits in the game, Wallace drove in a run and Heckley doubled.

Fremont 19 Bethany Christian 4 – Five players had multi-hit games for Fremont, Brock Baker (3-4, 2B, 3 RBI), Jake Bryant (3-4, 3B, RBI, 3 R), Alex Beams (3-3, 2 2B, 6 RBI), Brady Elliot (2-3, 2B, RBI), and Matt Hoff (2-2, RBI, 3 R).

Greenwood 11 Brown County 0 – Greenwod used four different pitchers that allowed just one hit and struck out nine. Landon Fink finished 2-3 at the plate with a homerun and four RBI. Jon Bowen was 2-2 with a triple and three RBI.

Adams Central 8 Eastbrook 3 - 2013 LHP Dalton Combs pitched 5 strong innings for the win.  He moves to 2-0 on the season with the victory.  He struck out 11 and walked 3 allowing only two hits.  Isaac Soldner came into pitch the final two innings for the Jets. He struck out 2 allowing only 1 hit.  Soldner also had a great night at the plate going 2-2 with 2 doubles.  2014 SS Conner Lengerich went 1-3 with a HR as did 2012 LF Landon Brunner. Combs drew 3 walks scoring 3 runs for Adams Central. 

Hobart 10 Hammond Gavit 0 - Hobart improved to 11-2 on the season with a 10-0 win at Gavit last night.  Drey Devereaux (2014) was 3-4 with a double, a triple, three runs, and 2 RBI.  Junior lefty Danny Stewart went four scoreless innings, striking out four, to earn his first career win to go along with his 2-3 day at the plate.
