The Arkansas high school season is coming in February, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day February 28th, we’ll be putting out our team previews ahead of the 2022 spring season, spotlighting on programs spanning across the different state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Arkansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

We’ve submitted a Preseason Questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. As their responses keep coming in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

OUTLOOK

We return all our pitchers from last year including Amos Mayes (8-2), Luke Eaton (2-1, 2 SV), Jude Box (4-0). Seniors, Allen County signees, Tucker Bradley and Kolton Reynolds return in the middle of the lineup hitting in the two and three holes. Mason Davidson is coming off a solid season as a sophomore and hitting the lead off spot. SouthArk signees, Luke and Braden Carter return as well and look to hold down first and the middle infield positions. Look to build off our first State tournament birth since 1999.
