Cavaliers Scout Day Stat Story

PBR Kansas and the Cavalier Baseball Club teamed up for a scout day at Johnson County in Olathe Kansas that featured close to 90 total players all from around the KC Metro area and surrounding suburbs. The event was filled with talent from players in the 2022 class all the way through the 2025 class. Full event stats and details can be found by clicking here.
The top fastball from the event belonged to 2022 Edwin White from Bishop Miege HS at 90 mph. JT Adams was right behind him at 89 mph leading the way in the 2023 class with Alex Kolle jumping in at 83 mph in the 2024 class and Ian Buehler up to 81 leading the way for the 2025's.
When it comes to speed the Cavaliers did not disappoint as they showed as a collective unit to be one of the faster scout days we have ran. Top time came from 2023 Harry Tryban at 6.57 seconds in the 60. Zach Schwarzenberger also posted a blazing time at 6.59 leading the way for the 2022's. Adam Walters lead the way in the 2024 class at a 6.65 60. All in all the event saw 11 total guys run sub 7 seconds.
Jamon Beck led the way with the top exit velocity from the event and in the 2023 class at 90 mph off the tee. Right behind him was Christopher Daniel at 89 mph which tied Carson Schrack who led the way in the 2022's. Logan Groh had the top exit velocity in the 2024 class at 86 with Jack Maley leading the way in the 2025's at 85 mph.
The top infield arm from the event belonged to Logan Groh at an impressive 85 mph from the 2024 grad. Jamon Beck also had the top infield arm in the 2023's at 81 with Schrack and Colby McCormich both coming in at 79 mph in the 2022 class. Top outfield arm at the event belonged to 2024 Will Burger at 87 mph with Harry Tryban right behind him at 85 mph for the 2023 class.
The top catcher pop time belonged to 2022 Nick Trehey which saw his throw down to second come in at 1.98 seconds. Jackson Krug also showed a tight spread on his pop times coming in at 2.01-2.09. Trehey also had the top radar gun reading from behind the crouch at 78 mph with Mason Cox right behind him at 77 mph.
