Earlier this week Prep Baseball Report Colorado reported out on the winners of each of the levels of the Centennial State Games.  It was reported that Slammers Black won the 18U tournament defeating Cherry Creek in a tie breaker on run differential.  A scoring error was brought to our attention and the correct winner of the 18U division was Slammers Blue (Zavaras).  Their four games went as follows:
Slammers Blue 15 Denver East 1
Slammers Blue 3 Cherokee Trail 1
Slammers Blue 4 Strike Zone 2
Slammers Blue 1 Erie 0
The finished the tournament 4-0 and won the tournament on the first tie breaker of runs allowed with 4.  They will receive credit towards the Centennial State Fall Classic or next Summers Centennial State Games.
