Prep Baseball Report will be holding their Open Identification Prospect Showcase on August 8^th at Normal West HS.  Below is the check in times for the event.  The event should run no longer than 4 PM, position players should get done around noon.  Please be sure to hydrate properly before the event and bring your own water.

Position Players:
Check-in for position players, this includes catchers, will be from 8:15 AM - 8:45 AM on the varsity baseball field.  
* Players will stretch first, then run the 60, and then we will go into defensive evaluations, and will conclude with the hitting portion.
* Please bring Wood or BBCOR bats to hit with.
* Hitting should conclude around 12:00 p.m.; some will be done sooner than others. Unfortunately, someone has to be last and someone has to be first.  
 
Pitchers (Catchers will stay to catch bullpens)
Check-In will be from 11:20 AM – 11:50 AM.  We hope to get started around noon for the pitchers.

* Catchers will throw and  catch bullpens for the pitchers. Pop times and velocities will be taken in the morning session before the pitcher bullpens.  Catchers will hit and run the 60 with the infielders and outfielders. (Note:  You should not underestimate the importance of catching bullpens; your receiving skills are always under evaluation.) Catchers will hit with the Infielders and Outfielders.   
 
* Pitchers will have ample time to get loose, playing catch and warming up in the bullpen.  You are free to leave once they are done throwing. Pitching should conclude around 3:30 p.m.
