PREP BASEBALL REPORT SUMMER 2018 WATCH LIST

Class of 2020 –

PBR SC has compiled a list of players that are worth keeping an eye on during the 2018 Summer. These players are looking to follow up solid prep seasons with continued summer success. If you’re interested in seeing some of the best uncommitted talent SC has coming back next season, start with these guys.

BRADEN GOLINSKI – Greenville

Batted .373 with a .481 OBP. Named to the region 1-4A All-Region Team and the Greenville News 2nd Team All Upstate Baseball Team. 

JONAS MARTIN – Woodmont

Hit .400 for the Wildcats and was named to the All Region 1-5A team and Greenville News 2nd Team All Upstate Baseball Team.

BUBBA ELLIOTT – Green Sea Floyds

His 27 hits lead to a .422 batting average with 6 doubles, 17 runs, 12 RBI, and 18 stolen bases. Selected to the Toast of the Coast All Area Baseball Team.

RUSSELL NOLAND – Lewisville

Ended the 2018 campaign with a .379 batting average with 6 doubles, 1 home run, and 14 RBI for the Lions. Selected to the Rock Hill Herald All Area Team.

DYLAN SMOAK – York Comprehensive

Went 7-3 with a 1.98 ERA for the Cougars. Struck out 63 batters in 42 IP. Named to the All Region team in region 3-4A and to the Rock Hill Herald All Area Team.

LANDON MILLS – Chesterfield

Named to the All-State team after winning 5 games and compiling a 1.37 ERA and 40Ks.

WILLIAM PRIVETTE – Chapin

Went 10-1 on the mound with a 0.67 ERA and 79 Ks in 61 innings of work. Named to The State Newspaper Midlands All Area Team.

TRENT LAND – Seneca

Hit .362 with .447 OBP, 25 hits, 23 RBI, 13 runs, and 9 walks for the Runners Up in 3A during the 2018 Season.

SAM LAFRAGE – Airport

Posted a .286 BA in 33 games for the Eagles. Had 30 hits, 16 RBI, 26 runs, and 12 stolen bases in addition to pitching 21 innings with a 1.66 ERA and 18 Ks.

RYAN OUTZS – Gilbert

Batted .361 with 7 doubles and 20 RBI also pitched for the Indians in 2018. Named to the 3A All-State team and honorable mention State Newspaper All Area Team.
