PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Frisch: I chose Oregon State mostly because of the coaching staff and the winning culture that is there. I love everything about the school, but the coaching staff is phenomenal, and they know how to win.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Frisch: I was originally committed to TCU, but I was considering Florida, North Carolina, and Arizona also.

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Frisch: They saw me at the PBR Futures Games and I got my connection later on with Oregon State through my friend, Drew Gilbert, that is committed to that school also.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Frisch: Yes it is very relieving but there is the whole process now of getting an advisor, and meeting with MLB teams that is also stressful.

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Frisch: The coaches are crazy good at player development and that is really one of my biggest factors but I really just fell in love with the school, team, and coaching staff.

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Frisch: There have been many people along the way but I would have to say Drew Gilbert because we have been training together for a long time and we always have been pushing each other to get better.

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Frisch: I wasn’t really thinking about college baseball until freshman year I got interest from Florida and Minnesota so I started working really hard at baseball. I started throwing harder and it made it a lot easier. It all kind of went by really quickly and I don’t think I ever stopped and thought about it too hard.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Frisch: I am going to have an opportunity to make an impact freshman year. It is up to me to work hard to try and fill that role.

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Frisch: Winning state this past year.

PBR: Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Frisch: Jarred Kelenic is the best player I have competed against.
