6/17/19

5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed hitting catcher. #33 ranked player in MN 2020 class. 6.89 runner. Controlled load with rhythm, consistently squares baseball, loud hard contact, uses both gaps well, has pop in bat and shows above avg. ability to hit, 92 mph exit velocity. Present strength with athletic movements, above avg. blocker, sticks pitches in zone, quiet actions behind plate, 74 mph arm strength with 2.12-2.16 pop times.

3/17/19

5-foot-10, 170-pound left-handed hitting catcher. 6.95 runner.  Strong presence.  Open stance with high hand set.  Leg lift and hand load back.  Comfortable in box with easy swing.  Uses the whole field well with hard-line drive contact.  Flashed pull pop in barrel with good bat speed.  91 mph exit velocity.  C- Above average receiver.  Quiet movements.  Tough.  Moves well to block and keeps ball in front.  Average feet and exchange on throws.  1.95-2.20 pop times.  74 mph arm strength with average accuracy and carry. 

6/17/18- 5-foot-10, 165-pound left-handed hitting third baseman. 6.89 runner. Compact build with present strength, narrow open stance, body load with knee to knee trigger, strong top hand through swing producing hard line drive contact, mid/pull approach, 93 mph exit velocity. Works low to ground, fields out front, sure hands, accurate arm to bag, solid overall actions, 78 mph arm across infield.

3/17/18- 5-foot-9, 165-pound left-handed hitting second baseman. 7.4 runner. Open stance, balanced swing, easy load with rhythm in hands, pull approach, rolls hands over early at contact occasionally but shows hard line drive contact to pull gap, 84 mph exit velocity. Good angles, soft glove, clean exchange with quick release, solid actions in field with accuracy to bag, 75 mph arm strength.

3/18/17- 5-foot-8, 155-pound left-handed hitting shortstop. 7.78 runner. Easy load and stride, shows rhythm in swing, out front at contact, flashes of strength in bat, mid/pull approach producing consistent solid contact from line drive swing plane, 83 mph exit velocity. Shows solid hands and feet, sound glove, solid/avg. range, accurate to bag, 69 mph arm strength across field.

PBR: Why did you choose the school you did?

Rinehart: Academic program, coaches and the program successes.

PBR: What other schools were you considering?

Rinehart: Grand View, Iowa Western, UI-Chicago, Minnesota, Augustana, Iowa Central

PBR: Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Rinehart: Legion season and follow up visits on a teammate who had committed.

PBR: Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Rinehart: Yes

PBR: Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Rinehart: Just a great feeling while at the school

PBR: Who has helped you the most to get to where you are today?

Rinehart: My high school coaches and my parents

PBR: What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Rinehart: Unsure as I play 3 sports. It wasn't difficult but wanted to be sure I was thorough with each option.

PBR: What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Rinehart: Looking at me at a few positions (C/3B/2B/LF) and I just want to help the team any way I can

PBR: What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Rinehart: Catching Max Meyer in the state tournament as a freshman

Rinehart: Drew Gilbert
