Daily Recap: Bryant vs White Hall

Bryant HS 11 vs White Hall HS 1

After a week off due to rain Bryant and White Hall holed it up in a premiere non-conference matchup. Both teams used the match up to get their pitching staffs work with each team using multiple pitchers.

It will be hard pressed to match Bryant’s pitching depth as they ran three 2016 grads out there that were sharp combining for 6 innings pitched with 10 strike outs 1 walk and 1 earned run. 2016 RHP Zach Jackson pitched the 1^st and 2^nd, 2016 LHP Evan Lee pitched the 3^rd and 4^th while 2016 RHP Alex Shurtleff pitched the 5^th and 6^th.

Offensively for the Hornets pounded out 11 hits to take advantage of the 9 walks given out by White Hall and score their 11 runs. 2017 MIF/OF Seth Tucker led the way offensively going 3 for 3 with 3 singles, with 2 RBIs, a run scored and a walk.

2016 OF Caleb Carr was a standout for White Hall as he went 1 for 3 with a double and an a RBI.
