Season is winding down, with Regional Tournaments beginning today Thursday was a light day of games around the state.

Fayetteville High School swept Bentonville High School in a 7A West double header, in two offensive shoot outs 11-10 and 9-7. This completes the Purple Dogs conference slate, again with an unblemished record. They are 26-3 without a loss to an in-state team.

Watson Chapel High School went on the road to beat Magnolia High School and won 9-7. This win gave the Wildcats a share of the 5A South Conference title, and the No. 1 seed in next week’s State Tournament in Harrison. Lakeside High School is the team they are sharing the Conference Title with.

Central High School beat North Little Rock High School 12-7. This gives the Tigers a share of the 7A east. They will enter the state tournament as a 2 seed unless West Memphis High School knocks off Cabot High School this afternoon. 2015 RHP Gray Fenter will make his final start for West Memphis, before he decides to attend Mississippi State or sign in the draft.
