Rain made for an abbreviated slate of games last evening.  Here is a look at scores and highlights from around the state for games that were able to be played.

#21 South Laurel 4, Whitley Co 1
Daniel Neal went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, Joe Gaines added 2 hits, and Zach Allen doubled and drove in 2 runs in the victory.  Austin Vigeant fired a complete game, 2-hitter with 8 K’s to pick up the win.

Bethlehem 11, North Hardin 3
Jimi Keating went 3-for-3 with a double, HR, and 3 RBI, Blake Brangers went 2-for-4 with a HR and 3 RBI, and Conner Ballard went 2-for-4 with a triple and 2 RBI to lead the Bethlehem offensive attack.  Corey Robinson threw a complete game 3-hitter for the win.

LCA 6, Henry Clay 5 (9 Innings)
Robbie Stephens went 3-for-4 with a RBI, and Drew Schacht, Graham Smith, and and Andrew Barker each added 2 hits as LCA, who had given up a run in the top of the 9th, scored twice in the bottom of the inning to win the game.  Connor Milslagle pitched well in relief, allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run in 4 innings of work.

Cameron Ross went 2-for-2 with a double and scored 2 runs and also fired a complete game, 2-hitter with 10 K’s to lead Conner to the win.  Blake Hart went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI to aid in the victory.

Boyle Co 7, Garrard Co 3
Josiah Robbins went 2-for-3 with a HR and 3 RBI, Jase Sharp went 2-for-3 with a double and scored twice, Austin Chambers went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, and Cooper Lindberg added a HR as Boyle County knocked off Garrard County.  Micah Miniard allowed 2 earned runs over 6.2 innings of work with 10 K’s for the win.

Rockcastle Co 7, Somerset 3
John Hughes went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Lucas Jones went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI in the victory.  Cody Brown allowed 2 hits and 1 earned run over 5 innings to pick up the win.

Wayne Co 6, Russell Co 4
Trey Blevins went 3-for-4 with a double, HR, and 2 RBI to lead the Wayne County offense.  Nick Gillespie allowed 2 hits and struck out 5 over 3 scoreless innings of work.

Harlan Co 2, Bell Co 1
Scotty Bailey, Tyler Cornett, and Anthony Jenkins each collected 2 hits, and Connor Leisge pitched a complete game, allowing 4 hits with 8 K’s to pick up the win.

Nick Vorbeck went 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBI, and Austin Combs went 2-for-3 with a RBI in the Corbin shutout victory.  Kevin Goins allowed just 2 hits in going the distance on the mound.
