No. 1 Elkhart Central 6 Mishawaka Marian 1 – Cory Malcom threw a complete game allowing one run on three hits and striking out nine, he also drove in two runs at the plate. Riley Futterknecht had two hits, one for a double, and drove in two runs. Matt Eppers had three hits and stoles four bases and Tanner Tully had two hits, and scored twice as Elkhart Central moved to 8-0 on the year. 

No. 2 Crown Point 13 Michigan City 3 – Noah Burkholder picked up the win throwing 4.2 innings allowing on earned run, one hit, and striking out eight. Zach Plesac hit a grand slam and drove in five runs total. Jake Jatis and Jake Carey each drove in two runs. Alex Nickla drove in a run and scored twice and Glenn Hect was 1-1 with a RBI and two runs scored. 

No. 9 Jasper 15 Washington 1 - Mark Giesler, Nick Gobert and Landon Ball all homered in the win. Seth Hollinden got the win as Jasper improved to 13-1 on the year. 

No. 19 Lake Central 18 Merrillville 1
– Ryan Burvan had a big day at the plate going 5-5 with a triple, homerun, six RBI, and three runs scored. Brenden Seren was 2-2 with a triple, three RBI, and a run, Alec Olund and Tony Schneider each went 2-3 with two RBI and two runs scored, and Chuck Alexa was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and a run scored. Nick Kellams picked up the win throwing four innings allowing one run on four hits and striking out three. 

Valparaiso 13 No. 21 Portage 2 – Drew Weston got the complete game win allowing two unearned runs, two hits, and striking out two. Ethan Lehnen doubled twice and drove in two runs, Jared Folke was 2-5 with a double and two RBI, CJ Gear was 2-3 with two RBI and three runs scored, and Stephen Simms was 3-4 with two doubles. 

Bishop Chatard 14 Northwest 1 – Sam Thronton threw three innings allowing one hit and striking out five to get the win. Brian Ball was 2-2 with a RBI and two runs, Michael Annee was 2-4 with two RBI and a run, and Andrew Pluckebaum drove in two runs and scored once. Max Taylor and Tommy Barrtett each drove in a run and scored twice. 

Bremen 8 LaVille 1 – Bryce Cassel got the win throwing five shutout innings allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out eight, he also scored twice. Bobby Cornett was 2-2 with a double and a run and Drew Coffel was 1-2 with a RBI and a run scored. 

Chesterton 9 LaPorte 2 – Mitchel Kobitz threw a complete game allowing two runs on four hits, no walks, and striking out two. Aery Pratt led the offense going 3-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. Austin VanderZanden was 2-4 with three RBI and a run scored and Mike Crowley was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored. 

Glenn 1 Culver 0 F/9 – David Jaworski drove in the game winning run in the bottom of the ninth to end an impressive pitcher’s duel. Tyler Niespodzany got the win throwing all nine innings allowing two hits, one walk, and striking out 14. Kyle Vlach took a tough loss also throwing a complete game allowing two hits, one unearned run, and striking out seven. 

Highland 11 Griffith 10 – Alec Smith led the offense going 2-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and two runs scored. Jeremy O’Donnell was 2-4 with a RBI and a run scored, Kevin O’Donnell drove in three and scored twice, and Danny Hamilton scored three times. 

Hobart 12 Hammond Gavit 2 – Sharpe Marshall got the win throwing all six innings allowing two runs on four hits and striking out eight. Tyler Kenjik was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs scored, Tyrus Joseforskey was 3-4 with a double, two RBI, and a run scored, and Drey Deveraux was 3-3 with a double, two RBI, and two runs scored. 

Morgan Township 7 Kouts 3 – Austin Porter had a big day at the plate going 2-4 with a homerun and five RBI to lead the offense. He also picked up the win throwing 4.2 innings allowing one run on two hits and striking out eight. 

Plainfield 9 Greenwood 7 – Tyler Garzinski was 2-2 with two RBI and a run scored, Hunter Smith drove in two runs, and Dillon Hughes and Matt Spaulding each drove in a run. 

Rising Sun 4 Switzerland County 1 – Nathan Hannan threw a no hitter allowing one run on four walks and striking out nine. At the plate he was 2-3 with a double and two run scored. Brady Murray drove in two runs and David Huber doubled, drove in a run, and scored once. 

Speedway 11 Cardinal Ritter 2 – Bryce Pennington had a big day at the plate and on the mound. At the plate he was 4-4 with a double, homerun, six RBI, and three runs scored. On the mound he threw a complete game allowing two runs on three hits and striking out six to get the win. Nick McCormick was 3-5 with a double, RBI, and a run scored. 

South Central 12 LaCrosse 4 – JT Snyder led the offense going 2-3 with a double, RBI, and two runs scored. Alec Sturdy also doubled and drove in two runs. Brayden Carpenter got the win throwing four innings allowing two runs on two hits and striking out six. 

Providence 3 South Central 2 F/9 – Christian Ensley threw eight innings allowing one earned run, but got a no decision. Justin Starr drove in the game winning run with a RBI double. 

Westville 16 Lew Wallace 5 – Austin Hisick went 2-4 with a double, triple, RBI, and three runs scored. Alex Quinn was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, and two runs and Austin Swistek was 2-5 with two RBI and a run scored. Chandler Bell was 2-3 with a double, RBI, and three runs, Riley Cuma was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs scored, and Chandler CHasko doubled, drove in two and scored twice.
