– Grant Rademacher threw all five innings allowing five hits and striking out five to get the win. Alex Del Rio led the offense going 2-3 with a homerun and three RBI. Joe Jumonvile was 2-3 with two runs scored and Tom DeCero was 2-3 with a RBI and a run scored. 

3A Top 10

No. 1 Andrean 9 Lowell 0 – Jimmy Skiff threw four shutout innings to get the win allowing one hit and striking out eight. Frank Podkul threw the final three innings also allowing just one hit and striking out seven. Chase Dawson was 1-3 with two RBI and a run scored and Alex Vode doubled, drove in two runs, and scored once. Skiff was 1-2 with a RBI and a run, Matt Desomer was 2-5 with a double and two runs, and Noah Davis doubled and drove in a run. 

No. 10 Griffith 10 Kankakee Valley 9 ­– Anthony Quintero was 2-4 with a double and four RBI and Kyle Buikema was 2-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a run scored to lead the offense. Kody Hoese was 2-3 with three runs, Josh Terzarial double, drove in a run, and scored twice, and Matt Colomes doubled, drove in a run, and scored once.

Chesterton 15 Hammond Gavit 0 – Matt Kubacki got the win throwing three shutout innings striking out eight, at the plate he was 2-2 with two RBI. Tyler Sufana hit a grand slam finishing the game 2-3 with five RBI. Travis Brooks was 304 with a RBI and a run and Cameron O’Brien was 2-3 with a RBI. 

LaPorte 7 SB Washington 0 – Evan Miller threw a no hitter for LaPorte, striking out 17 batters in the win. 

Seton Academy 5 Hammond Academy 3 – Devin Howard got the win throwing five innings allowing one earned run on two hits. Greg Alexander picked up the save throwing the final two innings allowing one run on no hits and striking out three. Howard led the offense going 2-3 with a double, homerun, and two RBI. Westbrook was 1-2 with a RBI and a run scored.
