Daily Roundup: May 24 Games



Southfield-Lathrup 6, North Farmington 2: Isaiah Land and Johnny Slater each had a hit and scored a run for Lathrup. Martin Hawthorne threw a complete game, striking out three and only allowing three hits. Nick Kipper and Brett Kramer each had hits for Lathrup.

Berkley 7-4, Madison Heights Lamphere 3-9: In the first game, Jacob Baker got the win for Berkley, throwing six innings, allowing eight hits while walking none and striking out five. Dugan Fernandez added two RBIs. Baker had two hits while Fernandez, Nick Bauer, Sean Calendar, Shane Dooley, and Alec Sanom each had one hit in the first game. Ryan Roman went 3-4 in the first game for Lamphere while Mike Kapala went 2-4. In the second game Shane Sabrosky and Sam Jennex each hit home runs for Lamphere while Ian Dimitrie got the win.

Fraser 6, Sterling heights Parkway Christian 5: Shea Barrington allowed one earned run in 4 1/3 innings for Fraser. Aaron Latessa struck out five in relief while Kyle Cornell had two doubles and three RBIs for Fraser.

Utica Eisenhower 10, Sterling Heights Stevenson 1: Joe Syms threw a three-hitter for Eisenhower while Steve Parker had three hits. 

Romeo 3, Sterling Heights Stevenson 2: Joe Gardner, Greg Antoine, and Eric Shankin each had two hits for Romeo.

Romeo 2, Utica Eisenhower 1: Jesse Rometty threw a complete-game three-hitter for Reomeo. Greg Antoine had two hits and Josh Hinkley had one.

Macomb Dakota 10, Warren Mott 0: Andrew Manduzzi struck out six in four innings and gave up one hit. Chad Roskelly had two doubles while Brendan Mangan and Frank Maloney each chipped in one hit apiece.

Warren De La Salle 6, Grosse Pointe South 5: Cole Clifton hit a double and had three RBIs for De La Salle while Joe Rydzewski went 2-3 with a double and two RBIs. Carl Gretz had a double and two singes and scored two runs. Scott Suminski got the save and David Crudder got the win for DLS.

Richmond 8, Birmingham Seaholm 1: Mitch Ward got the win on the mound, Evan Kratt went 3-3 with three doubles, and the Leach brothers Dustin and Zach each had a pair of hits.

Richmond 8, Petoskey 3: Daniel Fistler got the win for Richmond while Evan and Owen Kratt each cracked two hits.

Brother Rice 12-10, Rochester Adams 6-1: In the first game Ben Hart drove in two runs for Adams. Eight different players had a hit for Rice. Freddy Jehle stole a base for Rice. In the second game Ben Hart had two hits for Adams while Nick Plummer went 4-4, Freddy Jehle went 3-3, and Matt Ruppenthal went 2-3 for Brother Rice.
