Newport Central Catholic 4  Glasgow 0
Zack Pangallo went 2-4 with a double and RBI, Pete Collopy and Nick Seibert collected 2 hits each, and Dom Pangallo added a triple in the NCC win.  Josh Cain fired a complete game 2-hit shutout to pick up the win.

#17 Hazard 14  Heath 4 (5 innings)
Josh Meehan went 3-4 with 4 RBI, and JT Haynes added 2 hits and 2 RBI as Hazard took advantage of 7 Heath errors for the 5-inning victory.  Kameron Conley went the distance for Hazard, allowing 5 hits and 2 earned runs while racking up 9 K’s in the victory.

Bethlehem 3  Prestonburg 1 (8 innings)
John Riney went 3-4 with a double and RBI, Blake Brangers added a double, and Conner Ballard ripped a triple in the Bethlehem win.  Ballard tripled in the top of the 8th and scored on the Brangers double to give Bethlehem the lead.  Bethlehem then added an insurance run when Riney drove home Brangers with a base hit.   Jimmy Keating worked all 8 innings and racked up 9 K’s for the win.

Danville 3  Whitefield 2
Nick Serey and Ryan Woosley hooked up in a pitcher’s duel with Danville coming out on top.  Serey allowed 4 hits and 2 earned runs while racking up 11 K’s in the Danville win.  Woosley was the hard-luck losing pitcher, allowing 2 hits and 3 earned runs while striking out 9.

#8 Tates Creek 12  Bellvue 2
Devin Hairston belted 2 triples in his 2-3 performance at the plate.  Tanner Hart had 3 RBI going 1-1 with 2 walks.  Winning pitcher Louis Patterson dealt 4 innings giving up 2 earned runs on 3 hits and striking out 3.

#8 Tates Creek 10  Wayne County 1
Devin Hairston went 3-4 with 2 RBI, Nick Richmond went 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI, Jeff Chapuran stroked 2 doubles, and Blake Rose and Jordan Fucci each added 2 hits in the rout.  Tanner Hart picked up the win, allowing 1 earned run over 5 innings of work.

#11 Paul Laurence Dunbar 4  #15 East Jessamine 1
Grant Herald went 2-4, Joseph Graf drove in 2 runs, and Joey Avioli added a double in the Dunbar win.  Patrick Puracchio recorded the win with 3 scoreless innings of relief.

#13 Lafayette 7  #24 Mercer County 4
Blake Marshall collected 2 hits in 3 at bats during the win.  Jacob Abbott was the winning pitcher, allowing 2 ER on 2 hits, while striking out 6.

#13 Lafayette 11  Boyle County 2
Jalen Stith went 2-2 with a triple and RBI, Alex Daniel went 2-3 with a double, and Adam Holcomb doubled home 2 runs in the win.  Jackson Boggs allowed 1 hit and 1 earned run over 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win.

Henry Clay 3  #15 East Jessamine 1

Lewis County 2  #16 West Jessamine 0
Levi Clark went 2-3 with a triple and RBI, and Sammy Holder added 2 hits.  Holder also threw a gem on the mound, scattering 6 hits in the complete game victory.

#16 West Jessamine 4  Grayson County 1
Tucker Greer went 2-4 with a triple and RBI to lead West Jessamine to the win.  Jared Jones went the distance allowing 4 hits and 1 earned run with 6 K’s for the complete game win.

#18 Russell County 12  Harlan County 2
Ben Bertram led his team offensively going 2-3 with a triple and 3 RBI.  Teammates Alex Turner and Grant Best each added 2 hits and 2 RBI.  Taylor Grider picked up the win.

#18 Russell County 6  Clay County 2
Tyler Robertson went 2-4 with a home run, Brennan Coffey went 3-4 with 3 RBI, and Garrett Stephens added 3 hits for the Lakers.  Coffey also picked up the win throwing 3 innings of scoreless relief.

#24 Mercer County 5  Montgomery County 4
Dylan Logue knocked in all 3 of his RBI on his only hit, a 3 run home run in the second inning.  J.T. Long collected 2 RBI with a 3-3 performance at the plate. 

Scott County 14  Owen County 4
Austin Downey had a solid performance in the leadoff spot going 2-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI.  Freshman Parker Redmon got the win, giving up 2 hits and striking out 7.

Franklin County 11  George Rogers Clark 1
Conner Brown delivered big with a grand slam, while teammate David Current went 2-2 with a home run.  Zach Durham struck out 5 batters in 5 innings of work and only allowed 2 hits.

Franklin County 11  Powell County 1 (5 innings)
Conner Brown blasted his second grand slam of the day, and David Current added 2 hits and 2 RBI.  Eric Andersen allowed 1 earned run over 5 innings to record the win.

Corbin 1  Bellevue 0
Kevin Goins went 2-2 with a double in a game that only allowed 7 hits combined.  Chad Brown tossed a gem for Corbin, a 2-hit shutout with 9 k’s.

Belfry 6  Allen Central 2
Joey Duty and Reed Williamson each drove in 2 runs for Belfry, while Zachary Fields struck out 6 in 5 solid innings of work giving up both Allen Central runs. Starting pitcher Jon Banks picked up the win dealing 5 and 1/3.

Mason County 5  Ripley(OH) 0
Kyler Sapp helped Mason County going 3-4 with 3 RBI. Daulton Mason gets the win, throwing 3 shutout innings.  Nathan Cracraft relieved him, finishing the final 4 innings with 11 strikeouts and 2 hits allowed.

Harlan County 4  Clay County 1
Scotty Bailey had 2 hits and 2 RBI, and Tyler Boggs, Sawyer Fields, and Andrew Dozier each collected 2 hits apiece in the Harlan County win.  Boggs went the distance on the mound, scattering 6 hits and striking out 8 in the complete game effort.

Montgomery County 6  Boyle County 5 (11 innings)
Clay Barton and Jordan Nester each had 3 hits, and Chaiten Tomlin added 2 hits and 2 RBI as the Indians won the extra-inning contest.  Sam Lee picked up the win with 2 scoreless innings of relief.

Boyd County 5  Cooper 4 (8 innings)
Robbie Shivel went 2-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Dylan Grimm added 2 hits in the one-run victory.
