East Lincoln and North Lincoln Battle It Out

Seth Whitley started on the bump for North Lincoln showing a lively fastball getting the 1st 3 batters out in the Top of 1. North would punch across 3 unearned runs in the bottom half to make the score 3- 0. The score would remain 3-0 until the bottom of 4 when another unearned run scored for North Lincoln to make the score 4-0.
East Lincoln's Gavin Houser would change things in the Top of 5th with a leadoff single, followed by a single by Logan Craig. After a sac bunt, and an Isaac Armstrong walk, would bring up Garrett Michele who belted a Grand Slam off Whitley to tie the ball game at 4.
East Lincoln would add 3 more runs in the Top of 7 with 2 coming from a bases loaded 2 rbi double from Gavin Houser for his 2nd hit of the game. North Lincoln would get 1 more hit in the bottom of 7 from Landon Reeves with a 2 out single, but East Lincoln’s Isaac Armstrong would strike out Matt Heavner to end the game.
