Last year's event brought a couple of uncommitted talents that had top performances.  We saw uncommitted Ben Callies, a 2021 SS/RHP, who made the trek down from Fargo Davies High School, who a well-rounded day.  The 5-foot-10, 170-pound athletic two-way player started the morning by running a 7.15 60 time, 83 mph arm strength and a 79 mph exit velocity.  On the mound, Callies had a fastball sit 85-86 mph with good arm side run, a 68-72 mph breaking ball and an 80-81 mph change-up.  The performance landed Callies #42 in MN 2021 Class Rankings

2022 Hayden Mileski from Lakeville South, was another big performer last year.  The Tulane commit brings a strong frame and strength throughout.  The left-handed bat started his day by running a 6.90 60 yard dash.  Mileski displayed pop in the barrel with strong hands while recording a 91 mph exit velocity.  Mileski showcased an ability to play both infield and outfield with a 78 mph arm strength (IF) and a 82 mph arm strength (OF). One of the early commits in the 2022 class is headed south to Louisiana.

This year's event will host plenty of first time and young talent from both Minnesota and Iowa.  PBR Minnesota is looking forward to heading back to Mankato.

This event is designed to allow players to showcase their ability which allows colleges to identify prospective student-athletes earlier in the recruiting process or find players needed immediately for next year. Players will also be evaluated and considered for updated player rankings along with being considered for future PBR “Invite-Only” events. The showcase will be featured on the PBR’s website, where more than 900 college coaches subscribe to look for talent. Scouting reports, statistics, and videos will be hosted in player profiles. Top players will also be identified from this event.
