Fall Preview: What to expect as the summer ends

It's been a wild and crazy summer across the Empire State for the Prep Baseball Report- NY Staff. We dashed the rain, traversed the state all hours of the day, went to Indiana with our first NY based Future Games team and had 230+ players attend our 3rd Annual NY Games. It all began with our first Annual Academic Games at Cornell on June 3rd and then ended with our final Campus Series last week in Oswego. That, along with our partnerships with Blue Chips Prospects on Long Island, had us seeing close to 800 players this summer. That number doesn't include all the players that attended either PBR run or covered tournaments.

Now the dust is starting to settle and we will be back to our content based material this fall. Here's what to keep an eye out for:

Features

+ Profile of the Day (Daily): We highlight a player from the database with a snapshot of their profile and a link to their actual profile page. Venues: Twitter, Instagram & Facebook. Monday-Friday.

+ Weekly Video Spotlight (Every Monday): A full Prep Baseball Report video of a selected player plugged into our home page, shortened clip visible on social media: Venues: Website, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook

+ Rookie Review (Weekly): A breakdown of a first time attendee, what we liked, how they ranked and what we would like to see from them in the future. Venues: Website, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook

+ Progress Report (Weekly): One of our favorite segments... we all understand that the game needs to be played a certain way and game experience is necessary to play at the next level. This feature dives more into the numbers, where we look for that player that has put the work in behind closed doors to better themselves. Venues: Website, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook

+ On Deck Preview (Event Dependent): As a lead in to our upcoming events we highlight those who we believe are going to make a lasting impression at the next scheduled event. This may be done individually, by position or as a whole. Venues: Website, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook

+ Top Performer Spotlight (Event Dependent): A highlight of who stood out from the most recent events. The player who caught our eye either in the workout or within game play. Venues: Website, Twitter, Instagram & Facebook.

What else to Expect

+ A breakdown of top summer performers (overall and from our Campus Series).

+ Continuation of our "Perform Like a Pro" segment from Coach Stephen Gamma.

+ Continued "Day of" coverage on our social media platforms of our Fall Showcase Events.

+ Feature articles on any topics that come to mind by Dan Cevette, Jared Carrier and John Northrup.

+ Constant promotion of players that register for Showcase Events...letting the world know via Twitter, Instagram & Facebook.
