~ FRESHMAN FREE SHOWCASE - QUICK HITS ~

- Josh Jackson (2B/SS, South Pointe) - compact athletic runner ran a 6.69 60 and showed twitchy tendencies. His max barrel speed was 65.2 mph and he generated an exit velocity of 81 mph. 

- Jack Moseley (1B/RHP, AC Flora) - Big bodied corner INF showed some pop during his BP rounds driving balls to the wall and getting one up and out with plenty of carry. 

- Noah Chapman (LHP/1B, Summerville) - Medium framed LHP with a noticeably quick arm. FB was up to 77 with ASR and breaking ball landed between 64-66.

- Gabriel Simmons (SS/RHP, Nation Ford) - Good present strength that protects to continue developing. 79 mph infield velocity with a quick release and an 85 mph exit velocity that transferred into his BP. 

- John Wimmer (SS/OF, Rock Hill) - Smooth actions from both the infield and outfield with good arm strength. Quick arm on the mound will be worth following. 

- Parker Youmans (Southeast Bulloch GA) - physical frame with projection. 82 mph exit velocity and consistent line drive round of BP that could turn into plus power as he develops. 

- Dylan Dampier (OF/RHP, Ashley Ridge) - Broad shoulders and strong frame to build on. .13 seconds time to contact was tied for the tops of the event. 

- Gavin Driggers (SS/RHP, Berkeley) - 6-2 frame with tons of potential. Still working on his body control in certain situations, however the upside is undeniable.
