Game Recap: Red Devil Classic Games 1 & 2

Searcy HS 10 vs Jacksonville HS 5

A back and forth affair early, with Searcy pulling ahead late to cruise to victory.

Searcy received big offensive days from 2017 CIF Adrian Hannah and 2018 C Andrew Stanley. Hannah went 2-5 with 2 RBIs and 1 run scored. Stanley, went 3 for 4 with 3 doubles and 4 RBIs and scored a run.

On the mound 2017 CIF/RHP Adrian Hannah picked up the win throwing 3 innings out of the bullpen allowing 1 hit while striking out 4.

2016 C Javon Wakefield was the leading hitter for Jacksonville as he went 2 for 4 with a run scored.

On the mound 2017 RHP Mike Harvard took the loss for Jacksonville, he showed a steady mix of fastball and a curveball. He allowed 4 earned runs in 4 innings of while striking out 1 and walking 2.

 

Searcy HS 6 vs Greenbrier HS 4

Searcy defeated Greenbrier 6-4. They received a dominate day from 2016 RHP Austin Allen. The Harding University commit was sharp, locating his fastball 84-87 mph with a curveball 71-74 mph. In 6 innings of work he struck out 10 while allowing 5 hits and 1 earned run.

Offensively Searcy received a solid game by 2017 CIF Adrian Hannah who went 2 for 4 with a single and a home run with 2 RBI’s and a run scored.

2017 CIF Paxton Wallace went 1 for 4 with a double and 2 RBI’s. On the Mound 2016 RHP Carter Coats battled pitching 5 innings, with 5 strike out, scattering 6 hits while only walking 1.
