Sheridan 4 HS vs North Little Rock HS 2
Sheridan beat North Little Rock 4-2 in the final game of the night at the Benton Invitational.
Sheridan scored 3 runs in the first inning and pitched and played defense enough to hold on to the season opening victory.
2017 3B David Rainwater’s double drove in two runs followed by a groundball from 2017 Brady Bibb drove in the final run of the inning.
2016 RHP Christian Goshen settled in after the 1st pitching 5 consecutive shutout innings. He was relieved in the 7th and Sheridan tacked on an insurance run
Winning Pitcher: RHP Zach Glidden 5.2 innings allowing three hits and no earned runs while striking out three.
Losing Pitcher: 2016 RHP Christian Goshen 6 innings pitched 3 earned runs and 10 strike outs.
