Watson Chapel HS 9 vs Central HS 3

Watson Chapel defeated Central 9-3 yesterday afternoon in the first round of the Benton Invitational.

Central scored three runs in the first off three hits, and a walk. The big blow came from 2016 Grant Broadway hit a bases clearing double down the right-field line.

After the 1^st inning the Wildcat pitching staff settled in scattering four hits while striking out 11.

Watson Chapel was paced by 2018 MIF Braelin Hence, he went 2-2 with a double a single two walks, two runs scored and a RBI.

Winning Pitcher: 2017 RHP Hayden Arnold. Five innings pitched allowing five hits, three earned runs, two walks, while striking out ten

Losing Pitcher: 2016 LHP EJ Scott. Four innings pitched six hits 4 earned runs while striking out seven.
