Hough- 3  Mooresville- 0

In game one of a Friday doubleheader both teams got strong starts from their left handers keeping zeros on the board until the 5th inning. Hough broke the 0-0 tie when Jackson Wolfe reached on an infield single to short, then stole second base and advanced to third on a passed ball. Jake Gorman then lined a ball to center to give Hough the first run of the game.

Max White kept Mooresville hitters off balance throughout the game working 6.1IP, allowing no runs and striking out 6. Dylan Koontz closed for Hough getting the final two outs of the game.
