4A Top 25

No. 5 Chesterton 5 Hammond Gavit 0 – Chris Torres struck out six in three shutout, hitless innings and Brayden Cortwright struck out three in three shutout innings. Tommy Benson doubled, drove in two, and scored, Austin Peterson was 2-4, and Tyler Nelson had a single, RBI, and a run. 

No. 25 DeKalb 8 Fremont 5 – Easton Rhodes was 2-4 with a double, RBI, and run, Colin Goebel was 2-4 with a double and a run, and Dylan Deller had a RBI. Kyle Dunham threw three innings allowing one hit, one earned run, and struck out five.

 

3A Top 10

No. 2 Andrean 10 Friendship Christian 2 – Mike Doolin went 3-3 with a double, four RBI, and two runs, Tyler Nelson was 3-4 with a double, triple, and two runs, and Joe Rycerz was 3-4 with a double, RBI, and two runs. Clay Thompson struck out eight in six innings to get the win allowing two runs on five hits.

Mt. Vernon 7 No. 10 Brebeuf 5 – Dino Tharp went 2-4 with a homerun, two RBI, and two runs, Sam McCarty was 3-4 with a RBI and two runs, and Matthew Boyle was 2-3 with a RBI. Caleb Rush threw two hitless, shutout innings, striking out three.

 

2A Top 10

No. 1 Wapahani 11 Randolph Southern 1 – Brevan Rivers threw all six innings allowing two hits, no earned runs, and struck out 12. Tysen Lipscomb was 1-2 with four RBI, Braxton Davis was 2-2 with a RBI and two runs, and Garrett Stanley was 2-3 with two runs. 

Valparaiso 7 No. 3 Hebron 3 – Charlie Healy went 2-3 with three RBI and a run, Ronnie Morey was 2-3 with a RBI and a run, and Nick Caputo was had a double, RBI, and two runs. Ryan Troxel got the win throwing five innings allowing three runs on five hits, striking out four.

Batesville 14 Connersville 1 – Trey Heidlage was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs, Calvin Sherwood was 1-1 with a RBI and two runs, and Drew Kiefer had two RBI and a run. Lane Oesterling threw four innings allowing one run on three hits and struck out six. 

Charlestown 10 South Central 0 – Drew Fifer threw four shutout innings allowing one hit and struck out eight. Brendan Brainard was 3-3 with two doubles, four RBI, and a run, Brady Lathan was 2-3 with three runs, and Bradley Love was 3-4 with a RBI and three runs. 

Delta 5 Monroe Central 4 – Chase Gardner struck out five in 3.2 innings allowing one run on three hits and Steven Wright threw 2.2 hitless, shutout innings while striking out three. Aiden Hinds went 2-4 with a run and Wesley Woodin was 1-3 with two runs. 

Eastern 2 Southwestern 0 – Clayton Purlee threw a two hit shutout to get the win, striking out seven. Cauy Motsinger went 1-2 with two RBI, Jacob Stewart was 1-2 with a run, and Ryan Adamson doubled. 

Fountain Central 13 Riverton Parke 3 – Nick Newell was 2-3 with a double, three RBI, and two runs, Brandon Howell was 2-3 with two doubles, a RBI, and three runs, George Valencia was 2-3 with three RBI and a run, and Jake Smith hit a solo homerun. Valencia struck out eight in the win, throwing all five innings. 

Franklin 8 Whiteland 1 – Alec Maclennan went 3-4 with two doubles and two runs, Blake Dicken was 2-2 with a double, RBI, and two runs, Luke Torrance doubled and drove in two, and Jared Ross had three RBI. Brandon Pugh threw five shutout innings allowing five hits and struck out three. 

Hobart 35 Gary West Side 0 – Benny Guevara struck out 11 in a five inning no hitter. Matthew Benton went 4-4 with five RBI and five runs, Tyler Schults was 3-5 with a double, five RBI, and two runs, Jaden Deel was 3-3 with four RBI and five runs, Michael Hunter tripled and drove in three, Jack Huber was 2-3 with two RBI and three runs, and Brandon Marciniak was 2-2 with three RBI and three runs. 

Maconaquah 9 Blackford 2 – Zac Snyder went 2-4 with a double and three RBI, Cody Koebler was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, and Kolson Silcox was 1-3 with a RBI and two runs. Koebler struck out seven in six innings allowing six hits and no earned runs. 

River Forest 7 Whiting 3 – Aleazar Camarillo went 3-4 with a RBI and a run, Austin Vergis singled and drove in three, and Milan Wendricks was 2-4 with a RBI and a run. Wendricks got the win throwing five innings allowing one earned run, four hits, and struck out six. 

South Dearborn 6 Rushville 4 – Ethan Getz was 2-4 with a RBI and a run, Tristan Rinehart doubled and drove in two, and Grant McLane had a double and a RBI.
