Rayne Supple, RHP, Champlain Valley (VT), 2015

PBR: Now that you have your college commitment out of the way, what are your goals as you go into your senior season?

Supple: To be a good role model/leader as captain of my team.

PBR: Who else recruited you during the recruitment process?

Supple: Fairfield, Clemson, Notre Dame, Miami, Arkansas, UConn, St. John's, URI, Auburn, Maine, and Stanford.

PBR: Why did you chose Wake Forest and what are your expectations when you arrive there?

Supple: Being an ACC school means great competition, great academics, great weather, great baseball facilities, and great coaches. I expect it to be very competitive for playing time, especially if I try to be a two-way player.

PBR: Who has had the biggest influence on your baseball and scholastic career?

Supple: Baseball: My father and grandfather. School: My sister Laura, an engineering student at Johns Hopkins.

PBR: How do you think your HS team will be this spring and what goals have you set for yourself?

Supple: I believe we will be undefeated this season due to our overall team skill level. Lots of senior experience.

PBR: How do you emulate your game after and what other sports do you play?

Supple: On the mound I think I'm similar to the Cardinal's Chris Carpenter. At shortstop, Derek Jeter. I also play basketball.
