PBR: Why did you choose Shawnee State?

Wisniewski: I chose Shawnee State because I felt an immediate connection with the coaching staff and they presented me with an opportunity to contribute to the team right away.

PBR: Where did Coach Moore first see you and what are your expectations once you step foot on campus?

Wisniewski: Assistant Coach Butler saw me pitch at the Agona Showcase.  Coach Moore then sent his pitching coach, Coach Dunfee, to see me pitch at the PBR Northern Unsigned Senior showcase.

PBR: Now that you have your commitment out of the way, what are your goals both individually and for the team going into your senior season?

Wisniewski: For my Senior year, I want to be a leader on my High School Team and finish unfinished business by making it to the State Championship.

PBR: Was the recruiting process what you expected?

Wisniewski:  I wasn't sure what to expect!  It was both stressful and exciting.

PBR: Who do you play for in the summer and what was the most memorable experience from this summer?

Wisniewski: I play for the Stallions Baseball Club during the summer.  My most memorable experience was winning the Top Gun Tournament and winning our league championship.

PBR:  What person has the great impact on your baseball career and why?

Wisniewski:  Three people have had a huge impact on my baseball career.  First, my dad has always been a great mentor and supporter.  Second, my pitching coach, Ronnie Stout has really helped me find myself as a pitcher. Lastly, Steve Hajdin has helped me with the mental aspects of the game.

PBR: What were your stats this past spring?

Wisniewski:  My record was 5-2 with an ERA of 1.96 in 50 innings pitched.

PBR: Who is the toughest hitter that you have face?
