Jesse Litsch Named PBR Florida Scouting Director

PBR Florida is proud to announce Jesse Litsch as our new Florida Scouting Director. Jesse is a former Major League Baseball pitcher with over 10 years of professional experience including 4 years coaching professional baseball experience.

Jesse attended South Florida Community College from 2003-2005 where he was named “Pitcher of the Year” in Florida in 2004. Jesse was drafted in the 24th Round of the MLB Draft in 2004 by the Toronto Blue Jays and spent 2 years in their Minor League system before making his Major League debut in 2007. Litsch spent 5 years in the Major Leagues with the Blue Jays from 2007-2012.

After his playing career was over, Jesse spent 4 years coaching professional baseball. He was the Pitching Coach for Team Philippines during the 2016 World Baseball Classic Qualifier. He was the Pitching Coach for the Bridgeport Bluefish of the Atlantic League in 2016. Jesse came back to Major League Baseball in 2017 where he was a Pitching Coach in the Atlanta Braves organization, and was their Rehab Coordinator in 2018.

Jesse has tremendous experience in amateur baseball as well as he was a Pitching Coordinator for MLB China in 2015-2016. He was an assistant coach at East Lake High School in Tarpon Springs, Florida in 2019, as well as the Owner of The Barnyard Baseball in Tarpon Springs.

Jesse will now be moving into a full-time role with the PBR Florida Staff. He brings a tremendous amount of experience in both professional and amateur baseball and will be a great addition to the PBR Florida Scouting Staff. Jesse will continue to help PBR deliver the best high school baseball coverage around the state of Florida.
