- Game Notes  

- Team Pennsylvania jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the 3rd inning with Ryan Novakowski's single getting the PA boys into the hit column. Novakowski also doubled in the 5th inning to finish the day 2-for-2. Down 3-2 heading to the 6th and final inning due to a weather delay time limit, Matt Merced singled with two outs and scored on an RBI triple off the bat of Anthony Miller to tie the game. Missouri/Kansas managed to score the winning run in the bottom half of the frame with two outs on a wild pitch.

- 2023 RHP Luke Guth impressed on the mound sitting 80-82 with late life to his fastball striking out 5 in 3.2 innings of work.

- Game Notes -  

- Team PA exploded for 3 runs in the 1st on 4 hits with Austyn Winkleblech getting things started with a leadoff triple. Cole Contable followed with and RBI single to open the scoring. Ben Haines and Ryan Novakowski also added run scoring singles in the inning. 

- After Georgia cut the lead to 3-1 in the 4th inning Team PA answered with a run on double steal in the bottom half. 

- Constable added an RBI single in the 5th inning to close out the scoring.

- 2023 RHP Ryan Novakowski went 3.1 innings to pick up the win sitting 80-83 with a feel for his slider at 66-68. 2023 SS/RHP Anthony Miller worked 2.2 innings of relief for the save sitting 81-83 with a tight curveball at 70-72.

- Game Notes -  

- Team Pennsylvania erased an early 1-0 lead with 4 runs in the bottom of the 3rd inning on the way to a 10-2 run rule victory of Team Illinois.

- Ryan Novakowski continued to swing a hot stick going 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored. Austyn Winkleblech also stayed hot going 2-for-2. Cole Constable tripled and drove in a pair of runs. Anthony Miller drove in three runs with a bases clearing triple int he 6th and later scored on a wild pitch to end the game by run rule.

- 2023 LHP Tyler Smith (Mt. Lebanon) and 2022 RHP Dylan McElhinney (Grove City) combined to hold Illinois hitters to just three hits and three walks. Smith earned the win with three solid innings with two strikeouts and two walks while sitting 76-79. McElhinney pitched the final three innings for the save allowing just one run on one hit and a walk while sitting 75-78.

- Game Notes -  

- Team Pennsylvania erased an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the 4th inning on a two out, two RBI single off the bat of Cole Contable. Anthony Miller's RBI single in the bottom of the 6th scored Matt Merced who had singled with two outs for the only other run.

- Austyn Winkleblech worked one inning sitting 75-79 while also showcasing an 11/5 breaking curveball at 67-68.

- Carter Cowburn worked the middle innings topping at 82 mph while also displaying a curveball at 68-72, a slider at 75-78 and a changeup at 67-68.
