Prep Baseball Report Kansas is excited to release week 5 of the Kansas High School Power 20 Rankings.  The list consists of the 20 best teams across the state regardless of class rank and will continue to be updated every Monday throughout the season.  This list has been compiled by the PBR Kansas staff with reliance upon our knowledge of the teams and players from scouting our tournaments, events, as well as the  games that PBR was in attendance for in 2021 as well as input from coach's preseason polls from all levels of the state.  As the season progresses, the rankings will update and become more heavily weighted on wins and losses as well as strength of schedule.  

This week, we have a new No. 1 in Blue Valley West as they move to 11-1 despite a strong strength of schedule. Gardner Edgerton also moves up this week to No. 3 as they ride a 6 game winning streak. Goddard enters the rankings at 19 as they are also on a 6 game win streak.
