Luke Evans went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, Everett Munsey went 2-for-3, Sam McFarland had 2 hits, Braden Mundy doubled and had a RBI, and Brady Atwell drove in 2 runs. Grant Parson worked 6 innings allowing 2 ER to record the win.

#4 St. Xavier 1, Brother Rice (IL) 0
For the second night in a row, the Tigers knocked off the #1 ranked team from Illinois as Ty Starke fired a complete game, 2-hit shutout with 9 K’s. Ben Breunig tripled and scored on a Landon Akers SAC fly in the 3rd inning for the game’s only run.

#5 Danville 12, Wayne County 7
Sam Matherly went 2-for-4 with a HR and 4 RBI, Brady Morse went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, KJ Stanfield went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Jarvis Bryant homered and drive in 2 runs. Jack Simpson allowed 1 ER over 5 IP to pick up the win.

Brice Estep went 2-for-3 with a HR and 4 RBI, and Cameron Boyd went 3-for-3 with a HR and RBI. Matt Kappes allowed 1 run over 4 IP with 4 K’s to get the win.

Nathan Lawson went 2-for-3 with a HR and RBI, and Cody Luttrell fired a complete game 2-hitter with 16 K’s to get the win.

CAL 7, #18 Eastern 0
Avery Hare went 2-for-4 RBI, Nathaniel Turner doubled and drove in a run, and Jett Peterson had 2 RBI. Michael Lynch went fired a complete game, 3-hit shutout on the mound.

Ethen Williams went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Ezra Yi and Ashton Prechtel each went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, Brayden Snawder went 2-for-2 with a RBI, and Colin Autry hit a solo HR. Autry picked up the win on the mound allowing no ER with 6 K’s in 4 IP.

Male 6, #21 Ballard 4
Devin Tucker went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Jehran Jordan homered and drove in 3 runs. Nolan Hood allowed 4 ER over 5 IP with 6 K’s, and Jordan Glasscock worked the final 2 scoreless innings. Kam Clark homered in the Ballard loss.

Warren East 5, Franklin-Simpson 4
Colton Edwards doubled and drove in two runs, Micah Ford went 3-for-3, and Ayden Barrick had 2 RBI in the Warren East victory. Caiden Murrell picked up the win in relief with 3.2 IP and 1 run allowed.

Glasgow 8, Greenwood 6
Hunter Scott went 3-for-3 with a triple and RBI, John Myers went 2-for-3 with a RBI, Camron Hayden went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Jackson Poland doubled and drove in a run. Mason Bass allowed no earned runs over 6 IP to get the win. Rhett Dysholm doubled twice in the Greenwood loss.

Nicholas County 6, Lloyd 4
Dalton Davenport went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and a RBI, Tate Letcher doubled twice and had 2 RBI, and Lincoln Morris went 2-for-4 to lead Nicholas County. Branson Sosby and Brayson Ring combined to strike out 10 with Sosby picking up the win.

Boyd County 14, Morgan County 4
Alex Martin and Jason Ellis each went 2-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBI, and Jake Biggs and Jacob Vanover each went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI in the rout. Grant Slater allowed 2 ER over 4 IP for the win.

Boyd County 6, Belfry 3
Jacob Vanover went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and a RBI, Jake Biggs went 3-for-4 with a double, and Gunnar Geraheart doubled and had 2 RBI in the Boyd win. Geraheart also allowed no ER over 4.1 IP to get the win on the mound.

Rockcastle County 13, Casey County 3
Carson King went 2-for-4 with a HR and 3 RBI, Dalton Gibbs went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI, Cam Prewitt went 2-for-5 with a HR and RBI, Silas Shaffer went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Landon Dillingham homered and drove in 2 runs. Ethan Fain allowed 2 ER over 6 IP with 5 K’s for the win. Evan Stephens homered in the Casey loss.

Mason Acton went 2-for-3 with a double, Bryson Dugger went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Brady Cain went 2-for-4, and Marshall Livesay drove in 3 runs. Chance Todd fired a complete game with 11 K’s an no earned runs allowed.

Scott County 3, Bryan Station 1
Shawn Rowe hit 2 solo HR’s, and Sebastian Arden went the distance on the mound to lead Scott County to the win.

Marion County 9, Campbellsville 0
Keaton McCauley went 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBI, Henry Mattingly went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Jackson Willett worked 6 shutout innings with 5 K’s for the win.

Walton Verona 4, Highlands Latin 3
Ethan Mills went 2-for-3 with a double and  RBI, Evan Kerns had 2 hits, Jimmy Shields drove in 2 runs, and Nick Allen allowed no ER over 5.2 innings as Walton Verona advances to the All-A State Tourney next weekend at EKU.
