Power 25 Scores and Highlights

Breckinridge Co 12, #1 Paducah Tilghman 6
Cohl Proctor went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Isaac Seeger went 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI, and Wyatt Burnett went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles as Breck County knocked off No. 1 Tilghman. Seeger picked up the win on the mound allowing 2 ER over 5 IP, and Proctor worked the final 2 innings with 4 K’s.

#4 St. Xavier 13, Henderson Co 2
Jake Bennett went 3-for-3 with 4 RBI, and Cooper Smith drove in 2 runs for the Tigers. Luke Lantz allowed 2 ER over 5 IP to pick up the win.

#4 St. Xavier 8, #7 Bowling Green 5
John Paul Jardina went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and a RBI, Jake Gregor went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Cooper Smith added 2 hits in the St. X victory. Ben Tedesco worked 5 innings allowing 3 hits and 0 ER with 8 K’s. Turner Nottmeier doubled twice and had 3 RBI in the BG loss.

#6 Danville 5, Mayfield 0
Brady Morse went 2-for-4 with a RBI, and Brady Baxter had 2 RBI as Danville got back on the winning track. Morse also went the distance on the mound, firing a CG, 1-hit shutout with 10 K’s.

Brice Estep went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 5 RBI, Jackson Roseburrough went 4-for-4 with a RBI, and Sam Cottengim went 2-for-3 with a RBI. Sam Stacy worked 6 scoreless innings with 8 K’s for the win.

#9 Frederick Douglass 1, East Carter 0
Thomas Howard and Jack Gross each doubled, and Jaylen Edmonds drove in the game’s only run. Howard and Gavin Faulkner combined to allow just 3 hits with 11 K’s.

#11 Lafayette 13, #18 Paul Laurence Dunbar 6
Carter Owens went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI, Owen Jenkins homered and drove in 4 runs, Connor Mahoney went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Ben Prather doubled and drove in 2 runs, and Zachary Rayyan went 2-for-4 with a double in the win. Owens worked 4 strong innings in relief allowing just 2 hits and 1 unearned run with 5 K’s. Scott Kendrick and Tyler Gadd both homered in the PLD loss.

John Bingham went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI, and Gunnar Bingham added 2 hits in the Lyon Co victory.

Sam Bevin went 2-for-3 with a triple and RBI, Lavon Thomas went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Nick Kaelin doubled and drove in a run, and Kevin Moore and Tony Byrd each had 2 RBI. Zach Martin worked 5 innings to pick up the win.

#15 Apollo 13, Fairfax (VA) 10
Harrison Bowman went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI, Will Strode went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Sam Holder went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Aiden Wells doubled and drove in a run. Nick Judd worked 4 innings to pick up the win.

#15 Apollo 18, North Bullitt 8
Will Strode and Noah Cook each went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI, Nick Judd went 2-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI, Harrison Bowman went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Aiden Wells went 3-for-3, and Joshua Mayes had 2 hits in the Apollo rout. Owen Barger homered in the North Bullitt loss.

Ja Zurkhulen went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, Lucas Bolin went 3-for-3, Marcade Marshall went 2-for-2, Bradley Jones doubled and drove in 3 runs, and Ashton Prechtel doubled and had 2 RBI. Mason DiPaola picked up the win working 3.2 scoreless innings with 6 K’s.

Ayden Lohr went 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 3 RBI, Kaden Early went 3-for-5 with 4 RBI, Gage Testerman went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Briggs Yuenger doubled and drove in 2 runs. Jeffrey Vest picked up the win in relief working 4 scoreless innings with 3 K’s.

Alex Lindsay, Henry Craig, and Brayden Nettles each had 2 hits, and Lindsay picked up the win allowing no hits over 4.1 scoreless innings.

#23 North Oldham 15, Langley (VA) 3
Cade Rusch went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, and 3 RBI, Tyler Pyles doubled, tripled and drove in a run, Chase Edmonds doubled and had 2 RBI, and Wyatt Colvin went 2-for-3 with a RBI. Chance Edmonds allowed just 1 hit and no ER in 4 IP with 6 K’s.

#24 Sayre 6, Henry Clay 2
Raymond Saatman had a RBI double while also picking up the win on the mound allowing 2 ER with 8 K’s over 6 IP.

#25 Campbell Co 11, Ryle 9
Ayden Hamilton went 3-for-4 with a HR and 2 RBI, and Tyler Fowler went 2-for-3 with a RBI. Trent Sorgenfrei allowed 0 ER over 5 IP with 5 K’s.

Non-Power 25 Highlights

PRP 9, Bethlehem 1
Dylan Pierce went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, and 2 RBI, and Brady Fentress doubled and drove in a run. Tanor Fentress struck out 10 in 6 shutout innings for the win.

Daviess Co 9, Nelson Co 8
Lake Wilson went 2-for-4 with 5 RBI, Carson Troutman went 2-for-2, and Layton Huskisson had 3 RBI as Daviess Co scored 3 runs in the 6th for the victory.

Scott Co 3, Bullitt Central 1
Jacob Blair went 3-for-4 with a HR and 2 RBI, and Andrew Willhite picked up the win with 3 scoreless innings in relief of starter Trey Courtney who allowed just 1 unearned run in 6 IP.

Christian Co 10, Northeast (TN) 2
Josh Snorton went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Elijah Underhill homered and drove in 2 runs. Aiden Lewis went the distance on the mound allowing just 4 hits and 2 ER in the complete game.

Collins 5, Western Hills 3
Bradley Williams went 2-for-3, and Daniel Elmore had 3 RBI in the Collins win. Jacob Alvey worked 5 strong innings allowing just 2 hits and 1 ER with 8 K’s.

Oldham Co 2, Somerset 0
Jack Harris doubled and drove in a run, and Drue Osbourne fired a complete game, 1-hit shutout with 7 K’s.

Boyd Co 9, PRP 3
Alex Martin went 2-for-2 with 2 triples and 3 RBI, Luke Preston went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Jacob Vanover and Jake Biggs combined to allow 3 ER to propel Boyd to the win.

Crittenden Co 9, Owen Co 1
Maddox Carlson went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, Logan Bailey went 3-for-4 with a triple, and Chase Conyer went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI.  Carlson also worked 6 innings with 6 K’s to pick up the win.

Pulaski Co 6, South Oldham 2
Mason Acton went 2-for-3 with a double, and Brady Cain went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI. Braden Hampton worked 3 scoreless innings with 7 K’s. Davis Gunn homered in the South Oldham loss.
