Power 25 Scores and Highlights

Paul Laurence Dunbar 7, #2 Frederick Douglass 3
Michael Nicoulin went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI, Scott Kendrick homered and drove in 2 runs, and Hunter Williams doubled and had 2 RBI in the PLD win. Luke Parrigin allowed 3 runs in going the distance for the victory.

#3 McCracken Co 5, Obion (TN) 1
Eli James went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI, Nate Lang went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Jack Bennett went 2-for-2 with a double, and Miller Green added 2 hits. Bennett picked up the win working 5 innings and allowing just 2 hits and no runs with 7 K’s.

#4 St. Xavier 9, #25 Eastern 1
Jake Bennett homered for the third time in the last two games, Cooper Smith went 2-for-2 with a triple and RBI, Jake Gregor went 2-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBI, and John Paul Jardina and Jack Thompson each went 2-for-3 with a triple and RBI to power St. X to the victory. Ben Tedesco went the distance on the mound allowing just 3 hits and 1 run in the win.

Gage Griggs went 4-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI, Jaylen Seay went 3-for-3 with 4 RBI, John Kiebler went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI, Leyton Patterson went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, Devin Kiebler went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI, and Levi East went 2-for-3 with a HR and 3 RBI.

Daniel Murphy went 4-for-4 with 2 RBI, Patrick Forbes went 2-for-3 with a HR and 3 RBI, Spencer Newman had 2 hits and 2 RBI, and Ben Davenport added 2 hits and drove in a run. Tate Hanks allowed 2 runs over 5 IP for the win. Brock Brubaker doubled and tripled in the Daviess County loss.

Owen Jenkins went 4-for-4 with 2 doubles, a triple, and RBI, Ben Prather went 5-for-5 with a double and 3 RBI, and Mason Pittman went 3-for-5 with 3 RBI in the one-run win. Jaxson Howard allowed no hits and 1 unearned run with 6 K’s over 4 IP.

#14 Beechwood 13, Dixie Heights 1
Brice Estep continued to swing a hot bat going 3-for-3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI, Cameron Boyd went 2-for-3 with a HR and 4 RBI, and Landon Johnson went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI in the rout.

Blue Fletcher went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI, Braydan Maynard went 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI, Abner Collinsworth went 2-for-3 with a triple and RBI, and Will Lafferty went 2-for-2 with 2 RBI. Fletcher also picked up the win on the mound with 2 scoreless innings.

Isaac Beasley went 2-for-4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBI, and Cayden Devine worked 6 innings allowing 2 runs while striking out 9 to record the win.

Evan Moore pitched a complete game, 5-hit shutout with 5 K’s and also went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Mitchell Combs went 2-for-3 with a HR and 4 RBI in the win.

Estill Co 6, GRC 3
Kenny Rose went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Braeden Waddle added 2 hits in the win. Thomas Forehand worked 6.2 innings allowing just 4 hits and 2 ER with 5 K’s in picking up the victory.

Crittenden Co 15, University Heights 2
Logan Bailey went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI, Chase Conyer went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, Tanner Beverly and Evan Belt each had 2 hits and 3 RBI, and Jeremiah Foster had 2 hits and 2 RBI in the rout. Foster also picked up the win allowing 2 runs over 5 innings.

Pulaski Co 13, Lincoln Co 3
Mason Acton went 4-for-4 with 3 doubles, Brady Cain went 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBI, Chance Todd went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Jace Frye had 2 hits and 2 RBI, and Will Blankenship went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI. Todd, Wessen Falin, and Frye combined to strike out 9 batters over 5 IP.

Whitley Co 7, Clay Co 5
Sam Harp went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, and Mason Croley and Logan Bennett each homered for the Colonels. Grant Zehr picked up the win with 2 scoreless innings in relief.

Chase Carver went 2-for-4 with a HR and 2 RBI, and Braylen Lee doubled twice and drove in a run. Austin Comer picked up the win allowing 4 runs over 5 IP.

Gaige Logan went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Max Johnson fired a complete game, allowing just 2 hits and 1 unearned run with 5 K’s for the win.

Owensboro 15, Trinity (Whitesville) 3
Blake Kimbrell went 3-for-3 with a double, HR, and 7 RBI, Eli Hampton went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI, and Kindrick Williams went 2-for-3 with a RBI to power the Red Devils. Jacob Mitchell allowed no ER over 4 IP to get the win.
